  • Palm Sunday Homily by Fr. Miguel
    2026/04/01

    We belong to Christ ❤️‍🔥

In the Gospel Sunday, we heard Jesus call Judas His friend, knowing that he will betray Him. Fr. Miguel reminds us that this is a Gospel challenge — to see our enemies as Christ does and to pray for them.

As we journey to His Cross, death, and resurrection this week, may we say the words He spoke in the garden: “Not my will, but Your will be done”

    Gospel: Matthew 21:1-11

    First Reading: Isaiah 50:4-7

    Psalm: Psalm 22:8-9, 17-18, 19-20, 23-24

    Second Reading: Philippians 2:6-11

  • Fourth Sunday in Lent: Homily by Fr. Ryan
    2026/03/17

We are kindred spirits with the man born blind

Throughout Lent, we have gone from the Temptation of Christ, His Transfuguration, the encounter with the woman at the well, and now the man born blind.

This past Sunday reminds us that regardless of our past and our sins, Jesus does not stray from us; instead He draws closer to us so we may encounter His love and mercy.

As we journey closer to Easter, consider reflecting on where you have wondered back into darkness and come experience His life giving Light in the sacrament of confession. He seeks us, calling out to us in the darkness to heal us.

This week, we offer confessions Tuesday evening 6-7pm, Thursday evening 6-7pm, and Saturday afternoon from 2:30-3:30pm. Check out our Holy Week at STA post for extra Lenten confession times during Holy Week.

    Readings:

    First Reading - 1 Samuel 16:1b, 6-7, 10-13a

    Psalm - Psalm 23: 1-3a, 3b-4, 5, 6

    Second Reading - Ephesians 5:8-14

    Gospel - John 9:1-41

  • Third Sunday of Lent: Homily by Fr. Vic
    2026/03/09

    Turn to Jesus

The Samaritan woman was searching for fullness in her life and Christ showed her He was what she was looking for. He gave her what was best for her — not what she wanted, but what would bring her closer to Him.

Will you allow the Lord to come into your life in a new way this week as the Samaritan woman did at the well, living your life more fully for Him and less for yourself?

    Readings:

    First Readings - Exodus 17:3-7

    Psalm - Psalm 95:1-2, 6-7, 8-9

    Second Reading - Romans 5:1-2, 5-8

    Gospel - John 4:5-42
