Sometimes, you truly find out if people are real or fake just by interacting with them on facebook.

#Stand Up Comedy

Seeking comics as guests to talk about their comedy experiences, both the good and bad. A genuine conversation discussing how difficult it can be, and how sensitivity and being an aspiring comic, do not go hand in hand well.

The Comedy Open Mic Scene is more than just a gathering of like minded comics who want to break into stand up. It is so diverse and broad, and the gatherings themselves are much akin to regions, with counties, villages, families, indivduals, because not everyone clicks together. Yet they all assemble at these events for a common purpose, Comedy.

Comedy can mean different things for different people, some are there to network, some to scout talent, some to practice their sets, others to interview people, etc. If you hang around enough, you will meet at least one person whom you can form a social aquaintance with and possibly collaborate on projects as well.

Have you ever found yourself getting jealous of other people for their success?

I know I have and I fight that inner demon. Just having an open and frank conversation about this here today.
