In June 2011 the world was blessed with the second American McGee game in the Alice franchise, Alice Madness Returns. Since then Neil, Mike and friend of the show Dan (who appears on Switch 2 the Past for the first time!) have been awaiting some sort of sign that the trilogy will one day be completed. Well thanks to EA that will probably never happen but while the boys wait, they'll discuss what makes Alice Madness Returns one of the most beautiful, haunting, grotesque, dark, and unique games to ever grace a console.

Despite E3 going the way of the dinosaur, June is still the big month for game announcements (could they just bring back E3 and make this easier for all of us?). Time has flown by and with one year already since Mike held the Switch 2 in his arms for the first time, the boys look back on the last 12 months at Nintendo, give some reviews of the current games and hardware, and talk about their predictions for what we’ll see from S2 in June of 2027. Can’t wait for the Switch to enter the terrible twos!
