This short podcast is part of our Yellowstone Weekly Series and we recommend you go to You Tube and watch the video version because you will see pics and videos of everything we are talking about during this podcast. But for those of you that want to listen to the podcast version, here you go.
In this podcast, we go over the rules of brining you pet to the parka and It comes as quite a shock to a LOT of park visitors that bring their pet with them that their dog is NOT allowed on any trail or boardwalk park wide in both parks. You are basically allowed to let your pet out of your car to relieve themselves and that is about it. And we discuss the reasons for this as well.
However, we go over some hikes and river floats (see attached pic) located right outside the park boundaries where you CAN take your pet with you for the entire day. We also cover some great boarding places where you can drop your furry baby off early in the morning and then pick your pet up at the end of the day and you both had a great day. It's where we take our pet if we are going to be away from the car for an extended period of time or if we are doing an overnight hike.
So for those of you that want to bring your furry family member with you to Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks, we have you and your pet covered!
