This podcast is inhabited by the stories, urban legends, and horrors that you can find in towns not so different from yours; streets like the ones you walk every night; and even in a silent house in the middle of the night... exactly like yours. The darkness of the most successful and acclaimed horror podcast across all categories in Latin America now in English. Uriel Reyes was born in Tijuana, Baja California. As a child, he learned to comprehend the language of horror movies he found on American television, even though he didn't yet understand the language. He studied Communication at the Autonomous University of Baja California and later drew inspiration from the radio programs he listened to during insomnia-ridden early mornings, ghost stories, and a recording of Juan Rulfo reading a story from "El Llano en Llamas" to create "Relatos de la Noche" a podcast that has made him one of the most listened-to voices in the Spanish-speaking world. • The strangest apparitions on roads (glitches in reality)
    2026/05/25
In this episode of Tales of the Night, we venture onto lonely highways, routes many have traveled hundreds of times without imagining that something—or someone—might appear when you least expect it. These aren't just ghost stories. They're encounters that defy logic: presences that shouldn't be there, impossible repetitions, familiar figures in places where they can't exist… and moments when reality seems to completely break down. Stories that happen day and night, in the bitter cold, in the desert, on hairpin turns… and at that precise moment when you begin to wonder if what you saw was real… or if there's something else accompanying you on the road. Turn off your lights, get comfortable… and if you're driving, keep your eyes on the road ahead. Welcome to Tales of the Night.

  • They cast a spell on us with Santa Muerte (and other stories of curses)
    2026/05/18
In this episode of Tales of the Night, we explore true horror stories related to Santa Muerte, witchcraft, and curses. A young man who moves into an old house in the Santa María la Ribera neighborhood begins to experience strange occurrences after discovering a Santa Muerte altar in his neighbors' room. What seemed like a simple annoyance soon becomes something much more disturbing: dirty hair appearing on his bed, an apple full of pins in the kitchen, and a presence watching him every night as he sleeps. Throughout the episode, we'll hear other stories where witchcraft, threats, and rituals seem to cross the line from the everyday, leaving a difficult question to ignore: how real can these practices really be? Horror stories based on personal experiences, told directly and without exaggeration, as if someone close to you were telling them. Turn off the lights… and let yourself be carried away.

  • 3 am at the Haunted Hospital (paranormal stories)
    2026/05/11
Hospitals are places where life and death coexist every day… and perhaps that's why they're also the setting for some of the most unsettling paranormal stories. In this episode of Tales of the Night, we'll hear the testimony of two siblings who experienced several strange early mornings while caring for their grandfather in an old hospital, where a mysterious figure seemed to roam the halls at three in the morning. In the second story, a woman recalls the inexplicable events that marked her childhood in the house where she grew up, where for years cries could be heard in the yard next to an old tree. What her family would eventually discover would forever change the way they viewed that place. True stories of paranormal terror, unexplained presences, and encounters that occurred in places where no one would expect to find something from the other side. Welcome to Tales of the Night.
