Lorenzo Salgado Araujo was a hard-working family man who wanted nothing else in life but to provide for his wife and see his sons become great people, as his son Ronaldo Salgado shared in a heartbreaking video. We reflect on this moment and what it calls us to do.

Next, we welcome Maria Teresa Kumar, President and Co-Founder of Voto Latino, to discuss the critical importance of political engagement within the Latino community. She shares her personal "why" for co-founding Voto Latino, a civic organization dedicated to empowering young Latinos by registering them to vote and providing them with critical information to maximize their political power.
