I was up wrestling with what this day truly means — not the holiday version, not the church announcement version — the real, human, sacrificial weight of it. I equate hospice to The Last Supper. Think about this, Jesus knew what was coming, gathered His people around the table, and chose to celebrate anyway. That image hits different — somebody celebrating their last days surrounded by the people they love, knowing their time is coming. That's the Last Supper.

We walk through His final hours — the Garden of Gethsemane, the betrayal, the trial, the crown of thorns, the cross — and I want you to FEEL this, not just hear it. I talk about why I never understood the phrase "Good Friday" and What is good about Good Friday? until I've gotten older over the years.
