  • Episode 22 – The Anatomy of Modern Romance Scams | It Starts With a Single Response | Romance Scam Red Flags Explained
    2026/05/03

    Send us Fan Mail

In this episode, I revisit one of the most important questions people ask:

How does a romance scam actually begin?

    It doesn’t start with money.
It doesn’t start with a crisis.

It starts with a single message.

This episode is a clear, structured breakdown of the early warning signs — from the first unsolicited contact… to the moment the relationship begins to take hold.

    I walk through:

    • Why these messages are designed to get a response
    • How trust is built intentionally over time
    • The early red flags most people miss
    • Why “something feels off” is a signal you should never ignore
    • And what you need to do before it escalates

If you or someone you know is in a situation that doesn’t quite feel right, this episode will help you recognize the pattern early — before emotional and financial damage is done.

    Delete. Block. Walk.

  • Episode 21 – The Anatomy of Modern Scams | It Looked Legit...It Wasn’t

    It looked legitimate.

    The outreach was professional.
    The interview was real.
    The conversation mattered.

Nothing about it felt like a scam… because it wasn’t designed to. As usual...

In this episode, I walk through a real-time experience where credibility, authority, and opportunity were used to build trust—before a small “next step” was introduced.

No pressure. No urgency. Just a simple ask.

And that’s what made it dangerous.

Because scams don’t always show up as threats. Sometimes they show up as opportunities that feel aligned with exactly what you’re trying to do.

Be vigilant, watch for the patterns and rule violations. If the shoe fits...it fits.

And how one simple step—verification—stopped it.

  • Episode 20 - The Anatomy of Modern Romance Scams | When Intimacy Becomes Dependency
    2026/04/27

In this episode, we move past the first “I love you” and into the phase where emotional connection turns into dependency. Accounts are set up. Transactions are successful. Trust is established. And everything appears legitimate.

But this is where the structure behind the scam begins to reveal itself.

Often referred to as Sha Zhu Pan, this process is not random. It is deliberate, repeatable, and designed to build emotional attachment before increasing financial stakes.

Because once dependency is created, walking away no longer feels like an option.

This is where emotion overrides logic.

And this is where the trap tightens.

  • Episode 19 – The Anatomy of Modern Romance Scams | The “I Love You” Hook: Where Emotion Overrides Logic
    2026/04/22

    Send us Fan Mail

In this episode of The Anatomy of Modern Romance Scams, we go deeper into one of the most pivotal moments in the entire process—the first time money is introduced.

This is not just about the transaction.

It’s about what happens internally when something doesn’t feel right… and why that feeling doesn’t stop you.

Because the truth is, people don’t ignore warning signs.

    They question them.
    They feel them.
    And then… they reinterpret them.

    This episode breaks down:

    • how the scammer shifts from logic to relationship
    • how doubt is turned into guilt
    • how empathy is used to disarm resistance
    • and how emotional attachment begins to override logic

This is the moment where the dynamic changes—by design.

    Where you feel off balance.
    Where you feel responsible.
Where you feel like you’ve done something wrong.

And where one of the most powerful hooks is set.

This is where the Attachment Override Model takes hold.

  • Episode 18 – The Anatomy of the Modern Romance Scam: This Is Not a Romance Scam YET, But You Are Already In It From the First Answer
    2026/04/15

    Send us Fan Mail

In this episode of The Anatomy of Modern Romance Scams, we slow everything down and walk through the steps of how innocently and simply these scams actually begin.

Because one of the biggest misconceptions is this — that the danger starts when money is introduced.

    It doesn’t.

    It starts much earlier.

    With a message.
    A response.
A simple moment where nothing feels wrong.

    And that’s exactly the point.

This episode breaks down the early mechanics:

    • how a single message turns into daily connection
    • how consistency builds trust without raising suspicion
    • how isolation begins without being obvious
    • and how curiosity opens the door to deeper influence

Most importantly, this episode introduces a critical idea:

You’re not pulled into this at the end — you’re already in it from the first answer.

This is where the system begins.

And if you can recognize it here… you have a chance to stop it before it ever gets to the money part.

  • Episode 17 - The Anatomy of Modern Romance Scams - We Can't Wait | We are the Solution
    2026/04/10

    Send us Fan Mail

$21 billion lost in 2025 in the US alone.

This is a 37 percent increase in the 2024 numbers.

Just how much gets unreported...no one truly knows.

In this episode, we step away from the mechanics again, because here to face a hard truth - No one is coming to fix this.

Romance scams continue to grow because they exploit trust, emotion, and timing — and most educational systems in place are reactive...not proactive.

This isn’t about intelligence or age.
It’s about how easily trust can be engineered before logic catches up.

The solution isn’t out there formally, but it can be and we cannot wait for it. Waiting means opportunity - for the scammers.

The solution has to come from us as individuals, as families, as friends and as collogues.

Education and awareness truly are the main ingredients for prevention.

Please join me in our next discussion, Episode 18, when we will return to more detailed mechanics of how Romance Scams truly work.

  • Episode 15 - Anatomy of Modern Romance Scams - "Only Stupid People Fall for Romance Scams” — The Lie That Keeps Families Broken
    2026/04/07

    Send us Fan Mail

One of the most damaging myths about romance scams is this:

“Only stupid people fall for them.”

That belief isn’t just wrong—it’s dangerous.

Because it creates a false sense of security and prevents people from recognizing what’s actually happening… until they’re already in it. It hinders healing.

Romance scams don’t begin with money.

    They begin with connection.

Attachment is built first… reinforced over time… and by the time financial decisions enter the picture, logic is no longer leading.

This episode breaks down why thoughtful, capable, emotionally engaged people get pulled into these situations—and why it has nothing to do with intelligence.

It has everything to do with sequence.

If you’ve ever believed “that could never happen to me”… this episode is for you.
