• Edwin Martin: You Can’t Outrun Your Mind - Breaking Mental Barriers Through Faith, Discipline, & Hope, Ep. 304
    2026/06/02

What do you do when the pain gets heavy, your mind gets loud, and quitting feels easier than continuing forward? In this deeply honest and inspiring conversation, Dr. Zach Clinton sits down with endurance runner and mental health advocate Edwin Martin to talk about resilience, suicide awareness, faith, mental toughness, and the hope that can still be found in the middle of suffering. From running 24 straight hours in honor of the 70 suicides in Charleston County last year to completing a 194-mile run across the state of South Carolina to support mental health initiatives, Edwin shares how choosing hard things transformed not only his body, but his mind, identity, and relationship with God. Together, they unpack Men’s Mental Health Awareness Month, the silent struggles many men carry, the power of brotherhood and community, overcoming limiting beliefs, and why “chosen suffering” can prepare us for life’s hardest moments. Most importantly, this episode is a reminder that no matter how far behind you feel, how broken your past may seem, or how exhausted you are in the present moment, you are loved, your story matters, and with Jesus, there is always hope on the other side of the pain.

  • John Wayne Walding: Get Back To Work - Pain, Perspective, and the Process of Biblical Masculinity, Ep. 303
    2026/05/25

What does it look like to follow God… when everything in your life is falling apart? In this powerful Memorial Day episode and tribute, Dr. Zach Clinton sits down backstage at the most recent Ignite Men’s Impact Weekend with Green Beret veteran, Purple Heart recipient, Silver & Bronze Star Medalist, and warrior, John Wayne Walding, a man whose life is a living testimony of faith, courage, and resilience under fire. John Wayne served 12 years in the U.S. Army, including 7 years in the elite 3rd Special Forces Group. During the Battle of Shok Valley on April 6, 2008, he was struck by sniper fire that nearly severed his leg. In a moment that defines both grit and resolve, he applied a tourniquet and kept fighting alongside his team for hours. But this story isn’t just about what happened on the battlefield. It’s about what happened after. John Wayne opens up about the long road of recovery, becoming a below-the-knee amputee, and the internal battles many don’t see: mental health struggles, challenges in marriage, and the quiet weight that so many men carry but rarely talk about. Throughout it all, one truth stands out: faith is not tested in comfort; it’s revealed in the fire. We talk about what it means to trust God in suffering, to ask for strength instead of an easier life, and how pain, when surrendered, can become a tool for growth rather than an excuse for passivity. This conversation is also a direct challenge to men: to reject passivity, to embrace responsibility, to live with courage, humility, and intentionality, and to understand that real strength includes the willingness to be vulnerable and ask for help. John Wayne’s life reminds us that being a godly man isn’t about perfection…it’s about perseverance, surrender, and service. If you’re walking through pain, feeling stuck, or tempted to check out, this episode will meet you there… and call you forward.

  • When Jesus' Scars Redefine Yours: Tim Tebow on Identity, Intimacy and Impact Through the Lens of the Cross
    2026/05/22

Join us today for a special holiday weekend edition of “Built Different”!

What defines a life well lived? On this episode of the podcast, Dr. Zach Clinton welcomes Tim Tebow for a powerful conversation on identity, intimacy with Christ, and living a life marked by lasting impact. Known to many first for his achievements on the field: Heisman Trophy winner, national champion, NFL quarterback…Tim’s deeper impact has always extended far beyond football. From serving the “Most Vulnerable People” through the Tim Tebow Foundation to stepping into fatherhood with his wife Demi-Leigh and their daughter Daphne, Tim shares how identity, royalty, and calling have taken on even greater meaning in this season of life. At the center of this conversation is Tim’s new book, If The Tree Could Speak, a creative retelling of the crucifixion inspired by Luke 19:40. Through the perspective of the cross itself, Tim invites us to slow down and truly see the love displayed there, not as distant history, but as a present and personal rescue mission. Together, we explore what it means to live with urgency without anxiety, to lead with conviction anchored in love, and to “look again” at the people the world often overlooks. If you’ve ever felt unseen, dismissed, or forgotten, this episode is a reminder that the loudest declaration of love in history was completed for you.

  • Chad Robichaux: The Danger of Passivity - Why Strong Men Choose Courage, Ep. 302
    2026/05/19

What if the very battles you’re trying to avoid the most… are the ones God wants to use to build you the most? In this powerful backstage conversation from the Ignite Men’s Impact Weekend, Drs. Zach and Tim Clinton sit down with former Force Recon Marine, best-selling author, MMA champion, and renowned leader, Chad Robichaux, to talk about resilience, courage, and the kind of strength that is forged through adversity. Chad’s story is marked by intense trials, hard seasons, and moments that could have broken him, but instead became the foundation for purpose. Together, we unpack what it means to stop running from adversity and start partnering with it: to see hardship not as something working against you, but something shaping you into the man you’re called to become. We also address one of the greatest threats facing men today: passivity.
Chad shares why drifting, disengagement, and avoidance quietly destroy purpose, and how choosing courage, responsibility, and community can radically change the trajectory of your life. This conversation is a call to step up, to lean into discomfort, to embrace the process, to reject passivity, and to become the kind of man who is built through the fire, not in spite of it, but because of it. If you’ve been walking through a hard season, feeling stuck, or tempted to check out, this episode will challenge you to re-engage, reframe your adversity, and rediscover your purpose.

  • Charles Metcalf: God Chose You - Untouchable Confidence for the Unstoppable Christian, Ep. 301
    2026/05/12

What if the confidence you’ve been chasing… actually starts with one simple truth? God chose you. In this powerful conversation, Dr. Zach Clinton sits down with Pastor Charles Metcalf of Transformation Church to unpack the message behind his most recent book, God Chose Me: Untouchable Confidence for the Unstoppable Christian. In a world filled with fear, comparison, and constant pressure to measure up, many people are quietly battling thoughts of “I’m not enough, I’m behind, or what if I’m found out?” But Charles challenges that narrative at its core, reminding us that true confidence isn’t built on performance or approval, but on identity. Together, Zach & Charles explore how fear is shaping our culture in subtle but powerful ways, from procrastination and perfectionism to people-pleasing and playing small, and how many believers are unknowingly living from insecurity masked as humility. Charles breaks down what it really means to say, “God chose me,” and how that truth has the power to dismantle rejection, silence self-doubt, and anchor you in something unshakable. They also dive into the practical side of confidence and how it’s not something you wait to feel, but something you build through action, obedience, and renewed thinking. If you’ve ever struggled with comparison, insecurity, or the fear of not measuring up, this episode will help you reset your identity and step into a more grounded, bold, and resilient faith.

  • Tony Dungy: Forged Through the Fire - The Making of an Uncommon Leader, Ep. 300
    2026/05/05

What does it take to become an uncommon man? In this powerful live conversation from the Ignite Men’s Impact Weekend, Dr. Zach Clinton and Tanner Morgan sit down with Super Bowl-winning and Hall of Fame NFL Football Coach, Tony Dungy, to talk about leadership, faith, adversity, and the kind of character that is forged through life’s hardest moments. Coach Dungy’s story is one of discipline, humility, and perseverance. Raised in a home grounded in faith, education, and integrity, his journey took him from playing quarterback at the University of Minnesota to navigating position changes in the NFL, and eventually stepping into a calling as a coach and leader of men. But this conversation goes far beyond football. Coach Dungy opens up about the realities of rejection…being told he would never become a head coach…and how what looked like setbacks were actually shaping his identity and strengthening his resolve. He shares why getting fired impacted him more than winning the Super Bowl, and how those moments became defining catalysts in his life. We also step into deeply personal territory as Coach reflects on the heartbreaking loss of his son, and how that season of suffering deepened his faith and dependence on God. Throughout this conversation, one theme rises above the rest: true leadership is forged in the fire. Coach Dungy challenges men to pursue something greater than success: to live lives marked by integrity, intentionality, faith, and uncommon influence. He shares what it means to lead well in your home, your workplace, and your community, and why your greatest platform is not your position, but your character. This is more than a conversation about leadership. It’s a call to become the kind of man who stands firm in adversity, leads with humility, and lives for something that lasts.

  • Called Out of Our Comfort Zone: A Conversation with Edward Graham
    2026/04/29

God likes to call us out of our comfort zone, but often we hesitate out of fear—we like the comfort and safety of the life we have known. But stepping out in faith is where true growth happens. Edward Graham, Chief Operating Officer at Samaritan’s Purse, shares what God has taught him in leadership, both in the military but also in ministry. Hear how you, too, can step out in faith and obedience to the Lord, in whatever He has for you.

    • Listen to “Suffering for Christ’s Sake” to hear stories of pastors who experienced intense persecution and how their faith sustained them.

    Highlights:

Edward shares stories from his time in the military, where he chose to trust the Lord and seek Him for wisdom. He reads a passage from James that he continually goes to when he needs to turn away from doubt and towards belief.

“If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind. For that person must not suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.” – James 1:5-8, ESV

Now more than ever, Samaritan’s Purse has an opportunity to love our neighbors that are hurting in the Middle East. Our staff stand ready, training and preparing so when famine comes or disaster hits and everyone else is running away, we can respond in Jesus’ Name.

“God expects us—when He entrusts us with His widow’s mite or with His people—to take prudent risk, to go out and multiply in the Gospel.” – Edward Graham

Edward talks about trials he has faced in his own life and how they shaped him and encouraged his walk with the Lord. The story in the Bible where Peter walks on water shows Edward that sometimes in life God is calling us to get out of the boat. Often in our Western culture, we strive for comfort and ease. But that is not what the life of a Christian looks like.

“Let's get out of the boat. Let's be part of miracles. You’ve got to challenge yourself. You’ve got to put yourself out there sometimes, and maybe it's your church, maybe it's your family, maybe it's your job and career. Somewhere you're safe in the boat. What do you do to take that step and go walk on water and go be part of a miracle?” – Edward Graham

None of what is going on in our world surprises God. Kristy and Edward remind listeners that in this world we will have trouble, but we can take heart because Jesus has overcome the world. Edward asks for prayer for our staff and volunteers serving amid disasters and conflicts across the globe and for new endeavors that the ministry is embarking on within its aviation and U.S. rebuild programs.
