Luna reaches for her younger self's crayon in a childhood memory of the well room. She takes it and the memory shatters, leaving her in the archive reading room with the notebook open to a blank page. The figure appears in the window reflection, now wearing Luna's own face, and tells her that the drawing she makes next will become the final window. Luna draws a door and steps through into a hallway of identical doors, each leading to a different version of her life. She opens one and sees herself at a desk in the archive, years older, still drawing. The figure follows her through the door, and Luna realizes she has been walking through doors her entire life without knowing it. She finds a door labeled 'The First Window' and opens it to find a child sitting in the well room, drawing. The child looks up and Luna recognizes herself.
