    2026/06/16

Change is uncomfortable, but growth always is.

In this episode of the Experience More Podcast, I dive into one of the simplest truths I've learned through life, business, fatherhood, fitness, and the outdoors:

    Nothing changes if nothing changes.

During a recent road trip back to Wisconsin with my wife and daughter, I found myself reflecting on the journey that has brought me to where I am today, from growing up on a farm in rural Wisconsin, to building a career at 1st Phorm, launching 1st Phorm Outdoors, becoming a husband and father, and pursuing opportunities that once felt completely out of reach.

The common thread through every meaningful chapter of my life? Change.

We discuss why so many people stay stuck in routines that no longer serve them, how comfort can quietly become the biggest obstacle to growth, and why the things we're most proud of often begin on the other side of fear and uncertainty.

    In this episode, you'll learn:

    • Why change is necessary for personal growth

    • How parenthood gave me greater clarity and purpose

    • Lessons learned from growing up on a Wisconsin farm

    • The importance of surrounding yourself with the right people

    • How to overcome fear and stop making excuses

    • Why embracing discomfort can lead to a more fulfilling life

If you've been feeling stuck, searching for direction, or know deep down that it's time to make a change, this episode is for you.

Because at the end of the day, the life you want won't be created by staying where you are.

    Nothing changes if nothing changes.

As always, thank you for listening. If this episode brings you value, please share it with a friend, leave a review, and help us continue reaching more people through the Experience More Podcast.

Get outside. Challenge yourself. Create memories.

    Experience More.

  • 56. The Power of Perspective
    2026/06/09

Have you ever noticed how two people can go through the exact same experience and walk away with completely different outlooks?

After a wild weekend at Summer Smash, I found myself reflecting on just how powerful perspective can be. It's easy to focus on the chaos, the obstacles, the things that didn't go according to plan, but what if we chose to focus on the opportunities instead?

In this episode, I share lessons from my own journey, from showing up to events where I didn't know a single person to building friendships and relationships that have completely changed my life. We'll talk about why the people you surround yourself with matter, how gratitude can shift your mindset, and why life may be happening for you, not to you.

If you've been feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or focused on the negatives, this conversation will challenge you to look at your circumstances through a different lens and start seeing the opportunities that may have been there all along.

Because often, the biggest thing standing between where you are and where you want to be is simply your perspective.

    Let's dive in.
