  • Prayer Unfiltered: Why Pray?
    2026/04/16

If you’ve ever thought, “God is in control anyway, so why pray,” you’re not alone, and you’re not being unfaithful for asking. We sit with the real friction between God’s sovereignty and our lived experience, especially when prayers feel unanswered or outcomes don’t make sense. Prayer Unfiltered is our space to bring the questions we all carry, without turning God into a formula or prayer into a performance.

We talk about what prayer is and what it is not. For us, prayer is relationship: ongoing communion with a holy Father who invites His children close. That’s why prayer includes humility and alignment, not just requests.

If you’re longing for a deeper relationship with God, struggling with unanswered prayer, or trying to understand God’s providence, press play, then share this with a friend and leave a review. What question about prayer do you want us to tackle next? Contact us to let us know your questions.

  • Prayer Unfiltered: Honest Questions about Talking with God
    2026/04/09

Prayer can feel simple until you try to do it out loud, in a group, or from a place of disappointment. In this episode, we begin an honest conversation about prayer—what it is, what it isn’t, and some of the ways we may misunderstand it. Prayer is a relationship. Not a script. Not a performance. Not a way to get God to do what we want. We’re not claiming to have all the answers, but we believe exploring the ideas and questions about prayer together is worth it.

As we start this series, we want to hear from you. What questions, doubts, or experiences do you have about prayer? Send them our way—we’d love to include them in future episodes. Contact us at thefathersbusiness.com or find us on social media.

  • Devo-Transformed by Glory
    2026/04/07

Come exhale for a few minutes and let a deeper truth get louder than your inner critic: you are deeply loved, securely held, and not one bit accidental. We open with a blessing that asks God to quiet your spirit and draw you close to the Father’s heart, because peace is often the first doorway to clarity. With an unveiled face, we turn our attention to Jesus, crucified and risen, and we trust the Holy Spirit to do what effort never can. It’s grace-driven change, happening steadily, “with ever-increasing glory,” as you encounter the one true God.

We also speak identity in Christ and calling with specificity: God called you by name, formed you to reflect His glory, and planted you as an oak of righteousness for the display of His splendor. Your purpose is handcrafted, and your Father sees connections you can’t see yet.

If this devotional strengthens you, subscribe, share it with a friend who needs courage today, and leave a review so more people can find this message of identity, peace, and becoming. What would change this week if you chose to behold Jesus first?

  • Conversations #5: Living in the Abundance of God's Provision
    2026/04/02

What does it really mean to say God is our provider?

In this episode, Kimberly and Elizabeth continue their conversation on the character of God by focusing on provision. Together, they talk honestly about the tension so many of us feel: we know God can provide, but we still wonder how, when, and if He really will.

Looking at the story of Abraham and Isaac, along with Scriptures like Matthew 6 and Philippians 4:19, this conversation explores what it means to trust God as Jehovah Jireh—the Lord who provides. They also unpack the difference between our needs, wants, expectations, and desires, and why God’s provision doesn’t always look the way we hoped it would.

More than anything, this episode points back to the greatest provision of all: Jesus. The cross and resurrection remind us that God has already given us what we need most—and that changes how we face lack, fear, anxiety, and uncertainty today.

If you’ve ever wrestled with trusting God in practical, emotional, or spiritual need, this episode is for you.

If this conversation helps you, subscribe, share it with a friend who’s carrying heavy needs, and leave a review so more people can find the Father’s Business Podcast.

  • Conversations #3: When the Story Doesn’t Go as Planned
    2026/03/19

Some desires are holy and still go unanswered on our timeline. Kimberly and Elizabeth continue the conversations series by elaborating on practical ideas that flow from discussing God's Sovereignty and His Provision. They sit down for an unfiltered conversation about Christian singleness, jealousy, and the quiet grief of watching other people step into marriage and kids while you’re still waiting, serving, and trying to trust God’s provision.

The heart of the conversation is hope with substance: we cannot define ourselves by relationship status, whether single or married, because Jesus is the only safe foundation for identity. We explore what real church community can look like for singles, the childless, the divorced, and anyone who feels marginalized, plus simple ways to practice kindness and dignity in everyday moments that can otherwise wound.

If this resonates, share it with a friend who needs language for their story, subscribe for more conversations on identity and belonging, and leave a review so others can find the show. What part of your story still needs safe community?
