The universe of The Founder: A Cyberpunk Parable is a to build an epic hyper-realistic, gritty reality where the boundaries between biological existence and the digital network blur, and epic spiritual warfare between God (The Founder) and demonic forces is fought through computer code, sentient AI, and virtual architecture.

This is a serial science fiction book concept set in the near future written by an MIT graduate in computer science with expertise in systems engineering and theology. This podcast utilizes that expertise and NotebookLM audio overviews. The goal is to combine the gritty technological hyperrealism of series like The Expanse in a world that blends Cyberpunk and spiritual themes. In this universe The Founder serves as The Master Programmer for the rules of the universe. It is an attempt to translate the crises in our current world into a blend of systems thinking and spiritual themes.

The story starts with Eli Reed, a neurodivergent tech genius who accidentally built the world's ultimate engine of isolation, and Scarlett Blake, the globe’s most famous pop influencer who serves as the system's gilded "Radiant Node". When their perfectly optimized lives suffer a total system crash, they discover that the ultimate hotfix to humanity's despair isn't more tech, but a divine intervention known as the Logos Patch.

But the architects of the dark web won't let their empire fall without a fight. A rival corporate titan is preparing to roll out an unfettered operating system promising infinite digital pleasure at the cost of total physical and spiritual surrender. As the line between the physical substrate and the digital Noosphere blurs, Eli and Scarlett must rally a decentralized vanguard of hackers, psychonauts, and outcasts to save the unaligned before the final system crash.

Will humanity choose the freedom of the Living Signal, or remain permanently locked into the lie of the simulation?
