  • Still not hot - Even more lies we believed
    2026/05/21

In part two of our finale on modesty culture, we’re moving from the wardrobe to the psyche. We joke about the ankle-length skirts and the rule against spaghetti straps, but what happens when you actually try to unpack the shame attached to them? This week, we’re tackling the heavier lies we were fed—like the idea that your worth is tied to your fabric coverage—while keeping it light enough to remind you that we all survived it. Tune in for the final breakdown of why "modest is hottest" was the biggest lie of the 2000s.

I'd love to hear from you, please share what's on your mind!

  • Omni-awkward: The Trouble with Perfection
    2026/04/25

In this episode, we're hanging out with our old pal Epicurus. He's the guy who realized a few thousand years ago that you can't really have an all-powerful, all-loving god AND a world where mosquitos can kill you, and pediatric cancer exists. It's the Epicurean Paradox, and it's the ultimate glitch in the matrix for traditional faith.

  • The Sunday Morning Hangover Part 2: Dealing with the Space Religion Left Behind
    2026/03/29

Welcome to Episode 2 part 2!

In the final installment of The Sunday Morning Hangover, we continue to discuss how to navigate the "what now" phase of religious deconstruction. I'll provide definitions, examples, scripture references and laughs (I MAY even cry during this one) as we leave our standard issued maps behind and continue our curiosity driven steps away from the alter!

I'd love to hear from you, please share what's on your mind!

  • Leaving the pew
    2026/03/16

Why are we here? For many of us the cathedral didn't crumble overnight- it started with one question we weren't allowed to ask. In this debut episode, I'm exiting the sanctuary and departing from Catholicism.

We're exploring the 'why' behind this podcast and discovering what deconstruction really looks like. This isn't about having the answers; its about finally being comfortable with being curious. Grab a coffee, tea (or something stronger) and lets be uncomfortable together.

As mentioned in this episode, here are some important resources :

www.nsvrc.org -National sexual violence resource center

www.snapnetwork.org -Survivors Network for those abused by priests

    aaagnostica.org - a secular 12 step recovery

https://www.crusadeagainstclergyabuse.com/ -website created by the surviving family of the case I reference in this episode.

Sexual abuse is NEVER justified. If you are a victim of abuse there is help available. Please visit the above listed websites, call local authorities, or at the very least, reach out to me via the provided email address.

I welcome any and all questions/comments from my listeners.
