概要

Welcome to The Mo & Katy Show - the podcast where two unlikely best friends, one retired Air Force Colonel and one music-and-performance ace, sit down, hit record and turn everyday moments into joyful, meaningful, side-eye-worthy adventures.

Mo and Katy are humor strategists who believe life’s best stories aren’t always the big ones, they’re the weird detours, the tiny sparks, the grocery-store epiphanies and the “did-that-really-just-happen?” moments hiding in plain sight.

Every episode brings:

  • Hilariously honest banter from an odd couple who somehow make perfect sense together
  • A shared story or everyday moment that becomes the through-line
  • Tangents that should probably be edited out (but never are)
  • A dash of heart, because connection, not comedy, is the real punchline
  • A reminder to see the extraordinary in the ordinary, even when life feels like a plot twist with no budget

Whether you’re here for a laugh, a little perspective or that cozy “I’m right in the room with them” feeling, pull up a chair. You’re part of the conversation now.

Life is weird. People are wonderful. And everything - everything - is worth noticing.

Welcome to the Mo & Katy Show. Where connection leads, laughter follows and monotony doesn’t stand a chance.

  • Do You Want to Cry? Adventures in Female Aviation History
    2026/04/13

Mo and Katy are headed to Sweetwater, Texas for the WASP Homecoming Weekend which proves to be a whirlwind of trivia, brunch, memorial service and moderating a panel with kin of the Women Airforce Service Pilots.

Along the way: Mo shares the story of failing her landings (and confusing her instructor by not crying about it), Katy gets increasingly defensive of women who drove the world forward using outhouses and hand-me-down uniforms and they both marvel at how a couple years of service in the 1940s became the place these women chose to spend eternity.

Also discussed: vacuum-packing bags, garanimals-style outfit coordination, the importance of celebrating after a gig (even the bad ones) and why nobody ever yells "Is there a vocal coach on board?!" on a commercial flight.

  • Turtles necking, Thursdays and the WASP Songbook: When Ideas Actually Happen
    2026/03/30

Mo and Katy celebrate bringing a 3-year dream to life, a singalong songbook for the Women Airforce Service Pilots, while accidentally launching their friend Holly into an accountability cult.

What starts as "look at this pretty book we made" spirals into Oxford comma rants, musical key obsessions and a solemn vow to write 52 things by next April.

Also: turtles making out, why consistency beats motivation and the exact moment you realize your OCD is showing. Plus, Mo's heading to Portugal for Easter, so enjoy this chaos while it lasts.

They explore the debate over hands-free living (fanny pack vs. tactical vest?), preview Mo's upcoming Medal of Honor Museum fireside chat with recipient Jack Jacobs and share exciting updates on their WASP Homecoming project, including resurrecting a lost World War II song.

Plus: musical theater season is in full swing, phonetic alphabet fails and why you should absolutely pinch people on Tuesday.
