  • My Boss Was a Vampire Rosalie's True Story from Boston's Chinatown
    2026/06/19

Boston, 1963. Nineteen-year-old Rosalie desperately needed money for college when she accepted a waitressing job at a restaurant tucked away in Chinatown. The owner, the elegant and enigmatic Mrs. Lam, seemed perfectly ordinary. That is until Rosalie noticed young men arriving through the alley entrance and disappearing into her private office. One night, Rosalie accidentally walked in on something she could never explain: a woman with blood-red lips and a glow to her eyes.

Mrs. Lam warned Rosalie to never return again but before she did that she gave her money and a carved jade pendant.

Decades later, an appraisal of the pendant revealed a detail so inconceivable that Rosalie was forced to reconsider everything she had witnessed in that restaurant.

Listen and let me know what you think about Rosalie’s story.

  • Veronica's Vampire Summer: The Real Reason Her Summer Reading List Went Unfinished TRUE Story
    2026/06/12

This week's episode of The Night Visitors Vampire Research Society podcast plunges into Veronica's chilling account of a summer spent house-sitting near a centuries-old cemetery in rural Massachusetts—an experience that would test the boundaries between rational explanation and inexplicable terror.

Her excitement quickly turned to fear as a mysterious figure began appearing in the cemetery across from the isolated farmhouse she had agreed to watch. What started as a strange sighting became one of the most terrifying experiences of her life.

At first, she dismissed what she had seen as the harmless behavior of an eccentric stranger. But as the weeks passed, strange patterns emerged, unsettling details coalesced, and the line between folklore and reality began to blur.

    Some phenomena resist easy explanation.

By the end of the summer, Veronica would leave the property early, abandoning her plans and carrying with her a story she still cannot explain nearly three decades later.

On her final night, she left without her belongings and never went back.

There was something in the graveyard!

Could this be documentation of genuine paranormal contact?

Tune in to hear the full story and decide for yourself what walked among those graves.

  • Springtime in 1968 Brooklyn, a TRUE Shavuot Vampire Encounter
    2026/05/22

Some years ago, I met Trudy, a well-traveled woman in her late sixties, who finally broke her silence about her friend Rifka’s terrifying vampire encounter in NYC in the late 60s. After hearing it, I wondered could a tormented soul really reach across generations?

Rarely does a vampire story carry the weight of generational trauma quite like this one. Was Rifka’s experience a dream, or did something dark materialize from the shadows? Why did Rifka wake with mysterious marks on her neck feeling drained of her health, night after night?

Seeking her mother’s guidance, Rifka shares her experience. Confronted with the truth, Noemi must reveal a long-held truth. What she reveals is a devastating secret that followed the family across decades and continents, buried since before World War II.

Up against something ancient and relentless, a Williamsburg rabbi offers guidance rooted in tradition, and the Shavuot ritual becomes Rifka’s unexpected shield. (It’s honestly one of the more moving endings you’ll hear.) The encounter shapes Rifka forever, turning her toward both scholarship and spiritual practice.

Tune in to hear this haunting story told in full.

  • Chanda and the Floating Head
    2026/05/08

In early 1990s Cambodia, Chanda and her husband were being drained — literally. Night after night, they woke exhausted, covered in small puncture wounds, haunted by suffocating dreams. The source turned out to be closer than they imagined: their next-door neighbor, an ahp — a vampiric entity from Khmer folklore that hunts as a disembodied floating head with trailing entrails behind it. When a Buddhist monk's blessing finally let Chanda see what had been feeding on them in the dark, she knew exactly what she was dealing with. But defeating it would take something bigger — the sacred festival of Pchum Ben, when the gates of the underworld open and the ancestors come to help. What happens when you fight a vampire with faith, family, and a ring of thorn branches? Listen to find out.

You’ll find The Night Visitors podcast on a variety of platforms, from Apple and ListenNotes to iHeartRadio and more.
