Tonight's guest is Laura who has a lifetime of eerie encounters to share with us. Laura, though currently living in the UK, is from Honduras in Latin America, a place with an incredibly rich paranormal history.

Tonight we hear from Laura about her own perplexing, often chilling experiences, as well as those of her family members in Honduras - in particular those of her Grandpa who worked on steam trains in the 1950s and saw a wide array of inexplicable things: from mysterious glowing objects in the jungle to the apparition of a woman carrying a basket, who would step out in front of the train, again and again.

Tonight we’re meeting a real life exorcist, endorsed by the Anglican Church: The Very Reverend Dr Jason Bray.

I came across Reverend Bray in a newspaper interview here in the UK. The newspaper was The Telegraph, a very highly respected broadsheet...in other words a serious paper and not the type of place I’d usually expect to stumble upon the paranormal.

The Reverend's work is, of course, fascinating and unnerving in equal measure, so I can't wait for you to hear my interview with him.

Happy Christmas and welcome to episode 14 of the Paranormal People Podcast! This is the final episode of the year before we take a short break to refill the interview tanks and return in 2026 with more fascinating guests.

Back in Episode 12, my pal George and I had a wide-ranging, entertaining conversation exploring various branches of the paranormal. We covered everything from spontaneous human combustion and ghosts to time slips… but somehow, we never got around to the subject we both find most endlessly fascinating: UFOs and non-human intelligence.

To remedy that, we decided to dedicate a full hour or so to exactly that topic - and this is that show. Perhaps not a standard festive topic but I think you'll enjoy it nonetheless.

It's Halloween, so tonight's episode is a little different in terms of format: I'm joined by my good friend George (a fellow paranormal enthusiast) to discuss the branches of the phenomena that first captured our imaginations and the cases that keep us hooked to this day.

We sat down across a table with the intention of discussing UFOs and aliens specifically but, as you’ll hear in tonight’s episode, we didn’t quite make it that far! In fact, we ended up talking about almost everything paranormal except UFOs!

Don’t worry though, there will be a Part 2 companion piece episode at the end of the year that focuses specifically on aliens, UFOs and several famous cases.

Tonight’s guest is Jason Cvancara, based in Pheonix, US – he’s a man who never set out to be part of the paranormal world. Jason is a private investigator – not the kind who hunts ghosts or UFOs, but the kind who deals with the everyday realities of human behaviour: missing people and the like…

Jason spent eight years discovering a passion for law enforcement in the US Air Force, before an eleven-year career as a police officer in Phoenix. Eventually, he launched his own firm, Zona Investigations. It’s a background that gave him a sharp eye for detail – and a grounded, skeptical mindset.

But despite being fascinated by the paranormal, whenever people asked him to look into strange encounters, Jason usually turned them down. The stories seemed too far-fetched… or sometimes just too unsettling. Yet, over time, he found himself face-to-face with experiences that challenged his skepticism.
