Taxidermy, being a professional witch in L A and a love for spiders

After learning the foundations of mammal and bird taxidermy with a museum taxidermist back in 2007, Tea had built a great foundation, however taxidermy was put on the back seat and after her graduation from university, with a degree in animal biology & ecology, Tea embarked on a path that would lead to countless weird and wonderful things, working in the fashion industry, jewellery and accessory design businesses and illustrating professionally, this led to tattooing apprenticeship in USA and also becoming a professional witch offering services such as tarot readings, spellwork & house calls for cleansing spaces

Tea Francis stepped back in the taxidermy world two years ago now, and she feels that everything that was done in the meantime has given ger the perfect skill set to enable her to be a better taxidermist. Sadly her health has largely dictated what she’s does recently, following a few significant diagnoses between 2019 & now, workload has become harder she now finds herself focusing on learning as much as she can, honing my skills and collecting things while she is physically unable to work & run her business. Besides taxidermy & bones, Tea also collect old handwritten documents and letters, Victorian mourning paraphernalia, Victorian stationery & writing implements, and antiquarian books and we haven’t even talked about her spider love, that’s for the next podcast, hope you enjoy, please like and subscribe if you haven’t already
