8 families. One block. Kids under 12 rule the streets. My house benefits from their visits. We make art, music, meals, start small fires in the yard, break things, create things, and occasionally, we have chats. The Stanley Pod will hopefully capture some of these moments.. Preserving precious times in audio is a labor of love for me. These young people are philosophers in their own right. It feels good to be around them.

    He's not yet 4 years old, but Jack pack a punch and a hug all at the same time. He loves baseball as much as he loves kumquats. They both require examination followed by enthusiastic explanation. Those of us who live near Jack get to have a front row seat in the Stanley Stadium that is his gorgeous life.

    Charlie is wise about a lot of things. She notices bugs as much as she notices how people feel. Her curiosity is what's makes her world keep expanding. Loving Wicked as much as she loves rollerskating is a beautiful balance. She had a whole story about a dog farting in an iPhone movie, but that's for extra special people to ask her about.

    It's mid April 2026. Spring is in the air. Charles has explored this earth for 7 years and everyday he uncovers something new in the world around him -- or he just mines it from his own imagination. His artwork is delicate even when he uses metal sharp objects that tower off the paper. And there's the grubs that just seem to appear, like they have been looking for him just as much as he's been looking for them.
