概要

8 families. One block. Kids under 12 rule the streets. My house benefits from their visits. We make art, music, meals, start small fires in the yard, break things, create things, and occasionally, we have chats. The Stanley Pod will hopefully capture some of these moments.. Preserving precious times in audio is a labor of love for me. These young people are philosophers in their own right. It feels good to be around them.

    James, March 12th, 2026. He's in the art room in the back of my house. Snoop is with us. He's a dog that visits with me sometimes. His breathing may catch your ear, as much as the tinkering sounds of what ever James is working on, Our conversation is led my some of my questions. That's not usually the case, but recording us together is a new thing. I'm grateful James is open to this.
