The Run Fearless Podcast, Episode 3: "The Top American Woman at the CCC" with Robyn Lesh
Summary: In 2024 Altra-sponsored trail runner Robyn Lesh ran the OCC 50K where she finished 56th overall and 14th in the women’s field. In 2025 she was set to run OCC again, but a month before the race she ended up switching to the CCC 100K. She finished as the #1 American woman, 7th female overall, 11th American, and 47th in the entire field–-incredible.
In this 3rd episode of The Run Fearless Podcast Robyn shares how she applies her technical mind and engineering background to approach endurance racing especially at the CCC:
- Approaching technical mountain profiles, pacing strategies, and energy conservation
- The start and first several kilometers of the start of the race
- Robyn’s current training
- Running in the dark
- The mandatory gear
- And a healthy approach to race prep
