  • Who’s going through to the Champions League Final + Inter win Scudetto
    2026/05/05

Jimbo and the usual team of James Horncastle, Tom Williams, Pol Ballus and Seb Stafford-Bloor sit down to discuss all things European football and look ahead to those all-important Champions League semi-final second legs.

Inter are Italian Champions once again. A 2-0 win over Parma confirms the Serie A title with three games to go. Second-placed Napoli are now 12 points adrift after a 0-0 draw at Como.

In Spain, Barcelona now only need one point to confirm the La Liga title and, as fate would have it, their next game is Real Madrid! If Barca avoid defeat, it would be the first time a team has won the title in El Clasico. Elsewhere, Atletico make 11 changes in preparation for their second leg against Arsenal, but still win 2-0 in Valencia.

Both PSG and Bayern drop domestic points in between their second leg. Bayern have already won the title, but PSG’s nearest rivals Lens can only draw 1-1 with Nice so it’s as you were in the race for Ligue 1. Will we get another nine-goal thriller in Munich on Wednesday? Will we get goals in North London on Tuesday?

All this plus Moments of the Week and Arsenal’s floppy cannon.

Produced by Lucy Oliva and Xavi Bird.

  • Totally Extra: Tottenham’s trip to the Champions League final
    2026/05/02

Jimbo is joined by Dan Kilpatrick, Duncan Alexander and Daniel Storey to discuss Spurs' journey to the 2018-19 Champions League final.

The season started with concern after the infamous summer of non-spending with Spurs making zero signings or departures despite Pochettino's remonstrations.

What came next was a dizzying run of improbable European wins, late comebacks, Lucas Moura hat-tricks and an unforgettable campaign resulting in a Champions League final against Liverpool in Madrid.

It wasn't to be in the final and 7 years on with Spurs now on the brink of relegation into the Championship, was this the moment it all began to unravel?

Plus Duncan's away-goals related quiz question.
