SiriusXM Morning Skate with Scott Laughlin & Tyler Madarasz
Tomas Hertl scored the go-ahead goal with 3:24 remaining in the third period, finishing a beautiful give-and-go with Colton Sissons, as the Vegas Golden Knights captured a thrilling 5-4 victory over the Carolina Hurricanes in Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Final. Shea Theodore led the offensive charge with a goal and two assists, while Brayden McNabb added three assists. Goaltender Carter Hart stopped 23 shots to help secure the win. The victory also extended the Golden Knights' franchise-record postseason winning streak to seven games, dating back to Game 5 of their Western Conference Second Round series against the Anaheim Ducks.
Join us as we break down the wild back-and-forth battle, hear from Tomas Hertl, Shea Theodore, Brett Howden, Shane Gostisbehere, Rod Brind'Amour & John Tortorella.
Plus, former NHL Goaltender and NHLNR Insider Andrew Raycroft fills in for Gord Stellick.
