Self reliance can be very deceptive. Is our faith in God’s grace? Or is our faith in our faith? Do we trust in our ability to trust God? Or do we take full responsibility for our sin and become humbled by God’s grace? Have you surrendered? Or are you looking for a quick fix?

God’s will can be difficult to understand in times of suffering. This confusion can lead to despair and even suicidal thoughts and actions. However, we can not base our standing with God on our circumstances. Rather we must trust His grave and love and cling to His Word.
