  • Episode 27: Am I Christian Enough?
    2026/06/22

Have you ever quietly asked yourself: Am I Christian enough?

In this deeply personal and raw episode of the Wholehearted Impact Podcast, I am opening up about an experience that sent me into a spiral last year—when my book, Wholehearted Healing, was rejected by a local Christian bookstore. While this isn't an attack on any space, it forced me to confront a painful reality: the immense pressure so many of us feel to perform Christianity, look the part, and modify our language just to win religious approval.

Join me for an honest conversation about what happens when human gatekeeping gets confused with God’s final word. We explore why traditional faith spaces are often uncomfortable with the language of emotional trauma and nervous system healing, how Jesus Himself constantly shattered religious expectations, and why choosing obedience will sometimes mean being misunderstood. If you are a leader, a believer, or a survivor with a messy past who has ever felt spiritually rejected, this episode is a gentle invitation to stop measuring your relationship with God by other people's approval.

What We’re Unpacking in This Episode:

    • The Bookstore Rejection: The raw story of having my book turned away and how it triggered a spiral of wanting to be accepted by the very spaces I love.
    • The Pressure to Perform: Why fitting in is not the same as faithfulness, and how we accidentally trade spiritual obedience for human approval.
    • Jesus vs. Religious Expectations: A comforting look at how Christ broke the mold by healing on the Sabbath, protecting the broken, and challenging the packaged hypocrisy of His day.
    • Faith & Nervous System Healing: Why concepts like self-compassion, attachment patterns, and embodiment are not "un-Christian," but rather a reflection of a God who heals the whole person.
    • When Rejection Becomes Refinement: Learning how to not hand your calling over to people who were never assigned to validate you.
    • The Weight of Leadership: Kirk Franklin's story of struggling with porn addiction in the dark out of fear of church shunning, and why leaders need safe spaces to say, "Me too."
    • Gatekeeping vs. The Final Word: Remaining teachable and coachable without allowing human gatekeepers to dictate your standing with Christ.

  • Episode 26: My book & The 7 Steps to Wholehearted Healing
    2026/06/15

Welcome back to the Wholehearted Impact Podcast!

This episode is for the woman, the leader, the parent, the business owner, and the survivor who knows deep down that there has to be more to life than just getting through the day.

Today, I’m opening up my heart to talk about my book, Wholehearted Healing, and the 7-step framework that completely transformed my life. This book wasn’t written from academic theory. It was written from my raw, lived experience of navigating childhood trauma, overcoming drug addiction, and learning the hard way to stop abandoning myself.

So many of us try to heal intellectually while our bodies are still trapped in fear. We say we're fine, but our triggers tell a different story. True, wholehearted healing means giving God access to it all—not just the polished, spiritual parts. I’m walking you through a simple, faith-based pathway to calm your nervous system, release harsh self-condemnation, and rebuild your vision beyond mere survival.

What We’re Unpacking in This Episode:

    • Restoration vs. Fixing: Why you need to realize you are not defective or broken beyond repair—you are simply wounded and ripe for restoration.
    • The Altar Realization: My personal story of crying out at the church altar for 5 years and the exact message God gave me about picking up my cross and learning the tools to process pain.
    • The Leakage of Unhealed Pain: How your private wounds inevitably leak into your parenting, your business decisions, your communication, and your legacy.
    • The 7-Step Framework Broken Down:
      1. Awareness: Naming what you are avoiding without using it as an excuse to beat yourself up.
      2. Breath & Reconnection: Using the physical body and breath to interrupt panic, emotional flooding, and nervous system shutdown.
      3. Clear Intentions: Moving off autopilot and using prayer as the highest form of conscious inner decision-making.
      4. Compassionate Self-Forgiveness: Releasing self-hatred because you cannot shame yourself into wholeness.
      5. Gratitude: Widening your perspective so pain doesn't tell the entire story.
      6. Vision: Reconnecting with your future wholehearted self and giving your healing a clear direction.
      7. Creativity & Movement: Using physical expression, nature, and joy to shake off survival patterns and feel alive again.

  • Episode 25: From Survival Mode to Purpose (The cost of unhealed Trauma)
    2026/06/08

Welcome back to the Wholehearted Impact Podcast.

Today, we are having a crucial, heart-to-heart conversation about something many of us try to run from: the actual, tangible cost of unhealed trauma.

The truth is, your past wounds will not stay buried. When we refuse to process our pain, it doesn't disappear, it gets stuck. It dysregulates our nervous system, sabotages our relationships, skews our leadership, and ultimately turns into deep-seated physical suffering and dis-ease inside our bodies.

In this episode, I share a deeply personal chapter of my story that I hardly ever talk about. At 30 years old, I underwent a radical hysterectomy that instantly threw me into menopause. I lost the chance to have more babies—a choice I deeply regret to this day. Looking back, I see with absolute clarity how that physical crisis was the direct result of unhealed emotional trauma stuck inside my body. I ignored the warning signs, I ignored a vivid dream, and I even ignored a prophetic warning from a friend the night before my surgery because I just wanted the pain to stop.

Trauma doesn’t always look like a massive, dramatic event. Sometimes it wears the mask of overachievement, toxic relationship patterns, self-sabotage, or emotional numbness. But awareness is 90% of the work. When we approach our patterns with curiosity instead of judgment, we open the door for God to transform our survival mode into a beautiful, wholehearted purpose.

What We’re Unpacking in This Episode:

    • The Trapped Pain Trap: How unhealed trauma manifests as physical dis-ease and cell dysfunction when we stuff our emotions down.
    • The Subtle Masks of Trauma: Recognizing how trauma hides behind overachievement, self-sabotage, emotional shutdown, mistrust, and boundary-less relationships.
    • The Vicious Cycle of Numbing: Breaking free from the compound guilt and shame of using addictive behaviors to stay "comfortable."
    • My Hardest Regret: The story of my radical hysterectomy at 30, the warning from a friend I ignored, and the cost of choosing suffering over healing.
    • From Victim to Creator: How to stop looking at the world through a wounded lens and step fully into your God-given power to create change.
    • Curiosity Over Judgment: Using compassion to observe your behaviors without beating yourself up, unlocking the true potential for healing.

    My Journaling Invitation For You

I want to lovingly challenge you to take some quiet time this week to sit with this question: Where has unhealed pain been costing me more than I realize? Be honest, drop the judgment, and offer yourself compassion as you write.

  • Episode 24: How to Know You Need a Reset
    2026/06/01

Have you ever looked incredibly strong on the outside while secretly carrying deep emotional pain on the inside? If so, you are not alone. There are so many high-capacity women and leaders who are constantly praised for their strength, while quietly hiding marriage issues, anxiety, depression, or severe coping habits behind closed doors.

In this episode, I want to challenge the idea that we have to leave our personal lives at the door to be successful. We are whole people, and when we try to act strong instead of being honest about how we actually feel, we fragment ourselves.

I’m getting radically vulnerable in this conversation about my own journey—from navigating the heavy stress of releasing team members in my business to how my nervous system defaults to control and irritability when I’m running on empty. Strength without healing is exhausting.

What We’re Unpacking in This Episode:

    - The Danger of Fragmentation: Why forcing yourself (or your team) to leave your personal life at the door destroys true, authentic connection.
    - The High-Performer Hideout: Why leaders hide severe struggles like addiction, marriage issues, and anxiety—and how it makes us physically sick.
    - 7 Signs You’re Carrying Hidden Pain: How to spot overworking, overgiving, controlling behavior, irritability, emotional numbness, people-pleasing, and perfectionism in your own life.
    - The Biology of Stuffed Emotions: How emotional numbness and unaddressed trauma get stuck in the body, creating actual "dis-ease" and dysfunction in our cells.
    - The Ultimate Truth: Why success does not mean you are healed.

  • Episode 23: What It Means to Heal Wholeheartedly
    2026/05/25

Have you ever desperately wanted to heal, but felt completely paralyzed by fear, anxiety, or the dread that it’s just going to be too hard? In this episode, I’m breaking down what it actually means to heal wholeheartedly. Moving past simple coping mechanisms, I’m sharing my raw, personal journey with addiction, anger, and insecurity. The truth is, healing isn’t about comfort or perfection—it’s about choosing forward movement, deep connection with God, and having the courage to stop playing small.

What You’ll Learn in This Episode:

    - My Midnight Inspiration: The story of how God dropped the word "wholehearted" into my spirit in the middle of the night.

    - Pain vs. Suffering: Why I believe pain is an inevitable human teacher, but suffering is a choice to stay disconnected.

    - The Comfort Zone Trap: Confessions from a self-proclaimed comfort addict, and recognizing when "cocooning" stops serving our growth.

    - What Healing Is NOT: Why pretending, quick fixes, and striving for perfection will only keep you stuck.

I'd love for you to comment below or journal through these questions this week:

    1. What is one area of pain or striving (grinding it out) that you need to be radically honest about right now?

    2. What does it actually mean for you to heal wholeheartedly? What is God calling you to?

Why I’m Choosing Wholehearted Impact: My 45th Birthday Relaunch

Hello again, precious people, welcome back to a brand new chapter of Wholehearted Impact.

I’ve missed you all so much! I am so incredibly excited to welcome you to the very first episode of The Wholehearted Impact Podcast. If you’ve been with me for a while, you know this show as LeadHERship, but as I celebrate my 45th birthday today, I realized it was time for the name of this show to finally catch up with the mission of my heart.

The last two years have been a whirlwind, from publishing my book, Wholehearted Healing, to seeing our real estate business become the fastest-growing brokerage in interior Alaska. But behind the scenes, God was knocking on my door, and eventually, my body started answering for me.

In this relaunch episode, I’m getting raw and honest about why I’m transitioning out of the "hustle" of real estate and into the deep work of healing, faith, and purpose. We’re talking about the physical toll of chronic stress, the beauty of baking sourdough, and why I’ve decided to stop pushing my emotions down like a beach ball under water. I’m choosing to "be" more and "do" less, and I’m inviting you to come along for the ride.

Whether you’re a long-time listener or joining the journey for the first time, pull up a chair and discover what it means to live a life of Wholehearted Purpose.
