Kicking off this inaugural episode is my interview with Tjinder Singh of Cornershop. The band hit the charts with "Brimful of Asha" from their third album When I Was Born for the 7th Time. A remixed version of the track reached number one on the UK singles chart in 1998.
When this interview first aired back in March of 2020, the band just released their ninth studio album England is a Garden on their own Ample Play Records–and because they own the label, I was given permission by Tjinder to play some of the tracks throughout this podcast.
