• And Now for Something Completely Different
    2026/06/10

This week’s podcast answers a need that a number of listeners have expressed to me - you (or, at least, they!) have asked to hear more about what owners of The Psychology of Success Online Program have to say about how their lives have been transformed by investing in themselves.

And, by investing in themselves, first of all, I mean investing time and energy in doing what’s right and, obviously, not doing what’s wrong!

The most important investment you can make in life is to invest yourself in the here and now. If you don’t and most people don’t, what kind of a return on investment do you think you’re going to get from investing nothing at all?

Midway through this episode, I make what I believe to be a crucial point:

All the good things in life that you would love to have - and more - come to you as a result of you being present in pivotal “nows” in your life. But you can’t be present in pivotal nows in your life if you’re not present in this one. How you turn up to this here and now determines how you will turn up to the next one.

But, let me quote from an Online Program Owner who puts the whole idea of turning up to the here and now so much better than I can:

“Living in the here and now has a ripple effect that impacts every aspect of my life”.

While we’re at it, let’s quote another Online Program Owner who sums up what life is all about:

“The main goal: Living Here and Now, Being Present, Enjoying Every Single Moment”

When you do that, life happens or, as we’ve said on many occasions here, again quoting Online Program Owners, “it just happens” and it’s effortless.

This flow just happens when you turn up and experience reality and all that that has to offer. It’s only your thinking mind has a grip on our sense of reality - loosen that grip…

  • The Consequences of Being Normal
    2026/06/03

It’s time to wake up. And to encourage you to do just that, I have enumerated, in this episode, some of the more debilitating consequences of… being normal.

We’re exploring mental health, physical health, disease, illness and untimely death - all by your own hand or, should I say, all as a result of the automatic way the thinking mind is, actually, overthinking you to death.

Of course, you’re not aware of any of this because it’s normal, it’s everyday, it is how your “life”, if that’s what you can call it, is. And, you’re not alone - it’s how everyone around you is, on autopilot, surviving from one routine, mundane day to the next.

And nothing will change until you begin to become aware.

With that it mind, I’ve put together a series of questions, about half way through this episode, that you can answer straight away - you won’t even have to think about the answers, your automatic mind will do that for you!!

And, then, we get into transformation. Yes, I explain how you can transform your life starting immediately after listening to this episode.

Armed with an insight into what you need to do to transform your life, armed with an understanding of the importance of turning up to your life in the here and now, we then highlight the importance of this here and now and what you’re supposed to be doing in this here and now regardless of the often apparent insignificance of what’s going on in this here and now or, indeed, the task in hand.

So, take a half an hour to listen. It might be the last time you see yourself as you think you are.

  • Soul, Spirit, Essence, the Real You
    2026/05/27

The title of this episode would suggest that we’ve wandered into the world of spirituality, which we have, by the way! In fact, we’ve been paddling in that pool for most of this podcast’s five-plus years, it’s just that it wasn’t really explicit.

All that said, this week’s episode is entirely practical, focused, as it is in the end, on not wasting your time or energy on doing the wrong things and, instead, doing only what needs to be done, in the right way, at the right time, effortlessly, to move your live in the most desirable of directions.

As you’ll discover, this all actually happens effortlessly when you discover your spirit, soul and essence, when you encounter the so-called “Real You”.

When you do that, when you flow, well, everything flows.

And that means that what’s best for you flows, what’s best for you and those around you and, indeed, the world at large.

So, we get to the heart of the matter, so to speak. We discover where and how you’ll encounter the flow that is your soul, your essence. We discover how to do just that and how, in doing just that, in allowing yourself flow, you enable yourself flow, without having to deliberately do so - it comes naturally.

But, of course, it would come naturally, wouldn’t it, when you discover your true nature.

  • Changing Your Everyday Life
    2026/05/20

As it is within, so it is without - when we take charge of our inner world, we change our outer world, we transform our experience of everyday life.

And that is what this episode is all about - the undoubted and very real challenges that we all encounter every day.

What good is my saying that all good things fall into your lap when we let go of the want and trying that accompanies normal people’s efforts to change their life? What good is my talking about effortlessness if what you’re experiencing or feeling today is less than you would expect of life?

Well, when I talk about effortlessness, when I talk about transformation, I talk about the reality of what is not just possible but inevitable when we restructure our brains and enable our minds act in a new way.

But, even at that, we still have to deal with the behaviour or should I say the misbehaviour of normal crazy people.

That’s why we’re exploring health and fitness - an everyday challenge for all too many - and the misery that is all too often caused by the misbehaviour of those we encounter in our everyday life, particularly those often closest to us.

I hope this episode will help you get your head around the inevitability of everyday challenges but, more to the point, the fact that labouring under the weight of those everyday challenges is most definitely not inevitable.

We can rise above the so-called slings and arrows and, in doing so, enable those around us, perhaps, raise their game too.

But the key to all of this is, as always, your taking charge of your own state of mind.

  • Make Synchronicity an Everyday Occurrence
    2026/05/13

Synchronicities are the signposts that lead us forward and, if you’ve been listening for the last few weeks, you’ll know that moving forward is something of a current theme here.

However, normally, synchronicities are something of a hit and miss affair and, if we were to wait on the next one or two, we could be waiting some time. In any event, synchronicities tend to happen when least expected - something that we explore anecdotally in this episode..

And, yet, synchronicity is happening all the time - you just have to awake, alert, tuned in with eyes and heart wide-open to spot this everyday phenomenon.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not suggesting that big shifts will happen in your life everyday but, then again, synchronicities come in all shapes and sizes and, as we said in this podcast a few weeks ago, our lives don’t leap forward in major headlines, our lives change in the small print of the heres and nows of everyday life.

So, what can we do to encourage everyday synchronicity? How can we encounter everyday synchronicity if they tend to occur when least expected?

We’ll answer the second one first because it’s easy… expect the unexpected - by turning up to the here and now you’ll be tuned in enough to notice the unexpected for what it really is.

More to the point, if synchronicity “just happens” (a phrase you’ll often have heard me use), what can we do to encourage the “process” - can we even play a part in it?

The answer to these questions is the same as the first one. When we turn up to the here and now, when we’re present, our presence attracts synchronicity into our moment-to-moment experience of life.

Put another way, when we’re in Flow, we co-create synchronicity in harmony with the always responsive Universal Flow.

That’s what this episode is all about and, as always, as you listen you’ll pick up the simple things that you need to do to create and attract the synchronicities that will start changing your life… today.

  • How to Move Forward... Now
    2026/05/06

What got you to where you are will not get you to where you could go.

I didn't say get you to "where you want" because few people truly know what they want, fewer know how to get it and most think that what they want will never happen because... of there they are!

You don't need to know what you want, you need to know where you are.

Everything starts in the here and now. And that means that, to move forward, you need to discard the past: past mistakes, past "experience", past "learning", past (mis)behaviour.

Your future starts here and now. You don't need to know or even have a clue what that future might look like other than assuming - and it is a very valid assumption indeed - that the future will be what's best for you, wonderful, effortless, a revelation, something unimaginable to your habitual way of thinking.

Now, there's a promise if ever there were one.

But I can go one better because, in this episode, we have the step-by-step instructions on how to move forward in your life, for the best, starting... NOW.

You need to listen to this one!

  • Lost and Found
    2026/04/29

From being lost in thought and preoccupied, to effortlessness to manifestation, this episode takes you on an adventure from the ordinary to the extraordinary - an adventure that you can choose to take at any moment, at every moment.

We explore how to discover your true nature and how that true nature enables you live like you mean it, moment-to-moment, without you having to deliberately decide to ensure that you're present - your newly renewed neural pathways and connections will do it for you.

We revisit - for probably the 253rd time! - the power of meditation: the one choice that you actually need to make every day or almost every day.

And we even get into manifestation, debunking the normal understanding of what is considered a phenomenon but which is, in fact, the logical outcome of being present, knowing what's going on, being in the right place and the right time and doing the right things, in the right way, effortlessly.

Right action will open the floodgates for you.

  • Well, That's Impressive!
    2026/04/22

We're being, as always, entirely practical in this episode - we're exploring how to make the right impression and change your life.

And that change is immediate - no five-year plans required!

And that change is effortless - all that is required for you to live your "best" life is to turn up to it, in the here and now.

We cover career, parenting, relationships, self-love, happiness, calm and joy in just over thirty minutes - something of an achievement! Or, perhaps, not - when you realise how, rather than complicating your life through thinking about it, you just live it, live the moment.

We cover opportunity, synchronicity, presence and attraction - the law of attraction, if you will - we cover how to allow all that's best for you happen.

In other words, you don't go looking for it, what's best find you. Seek and you won't find!!

And, as always, we've a couple of lovely little stories to illustrate how all this works in everyday practice.

    Enjoy.
