概要

Unstuck Your Life is a podcast for people who just feel stuck. Whether it's stuck in life, in your career or in the balancing act of it all, you'll learn from someone who knows what it's like to be pulled in every direction. Pamela Hughes is a Certified Life Coach and former talk show host who knows what you're going through because she lived it; a mom with a demanding career, a husband with an equally demanding career and all the stress of life to go with it. She is now sharing the tools and concepts she used to wiggle loose so you can create the life you've always wanted for yourself.Pamela Hughes 個人的成功 自己啓発

  • 133. You're Not Holding Yourself Accountable. You're Just Being Brutal to Yourself.
    2026/04/22

You messed up once this morning and your brain turned it into a whole story about who you are as a person.

Sent an email with a typo? You're unprofessional. Didn't get to everything on your list? You're lazy. Forgot to follow up on that thing? You never follow through.

One moment becomes your entire identity. And you tell yourself it's fine because you're just being honest. You're just being realistic. You're keeping yourself accountable.

Except you're not being realistic. You're just being brutal.

And brutal doesn't motivate you. It paralyzes you.

But here's the thing - you can interrupt the pattern. You can stop being mean to the one person you're going to spend the rest of your life with. And when you do, you'll actually start moving forward instead of just beating yourself up for being stuck.

This episode is for you if:

    • You talk to yourself in ways you would never talk to anyone else
    • You think being harsh with yourself is the same as being honest with yourself
    • You've convinced yourself that if you're too nice to yourself, you'll let yourself off the hook
    • You keep calling yourself lazy while simultaneously doing seventeen other things that aren't the thing you actually need to do
    • You replay your mistakes on a loop like that's somehow going to change what happened

The negative commentary in your head isn't keeping you accountable. It's keeping you stuck. But you can change that starting today.

    About Pamela Hughes:

Pamela Hughes spent 20 years as a talk show host before walking away to do the one thing she actually wanted to do ... help people get out of their own way.

She's a certified life coach and the CMO (Chief Mindset Officer) for business owners and team leaders who are smart, capable, and still stuck. She works with people who already know what to do and can't figure out why they're not doing it. That gap? That's exactly where she lives.

She's been there herself. Walked away from a career that looked great from the outside. Did the hard work of stopping the excuses, taking full responsibility, and building something real. She's not going to tell you it was easy. She's also not going to tell you it's complicated - because it's not.

What she will tell you is the truth. And follow her long enough, you'll start telling it to yourself.

  • 132. How to Have the Conversation You've Been Avoiding
    2026/03/18

You know that conversation. The one you've been having in your head for three months. You've workshopped the opening line. You've rehearsed the tone. You've already responded to their defensiveness - in your head, anyway.

And every time you see them, you open your mouth and say something completely different.

Here's what's happening: you're not preparing. You're hiding. The rehearsing feels like progress, but it's doing the exact opposite - it's keeping you stuck in a loop where you never actually have to risk anything.

Meanwhile, the relationship is getting heavier. The resentment is building. And you're carrying all of it alone.

This episode is for you if:

    • You've had the same imaginary argument in your head so many times that you've basically memorized both sides

    • You keep telling yourself you'll bring it up "when the time is right," and somehow the time is never right

    • You've convinced yourself that you just need to find the perfect way to say it first

    • You're walking away from every interaction thinking "next time" - and next time keeps becoming next time

    • You know that not saying it is making things worse, and you're doing it anyway

The thing you're afraid will happen if you have this conversation? It's already happening because you're not having it.

If this episode cracked something open for you, the self-coaching guide will help you turn that awareness into the actual conversation, starting with getting clear on the one thing that actually needs to be said, not the forty-seven things you've been rehearsing.

  • 131. Why Everyone Gets On Your Nerves By Lunch
    2026/02/25

It's not the traffic. It's not your inbox. It's not your coworker who can't seem to reply to a simple email.

By lunch, you're already running on fumes and everything that shows up after that just catches the shrapnel.

You've been handing out your energy all morning to anything that asked for it, and now you're sitting there wondering why you're irritated and scattered and can't take a full breath.

Here's what's actually happening: your mental and emotional energy isn't unlimited.

And you've been spending it like it is.

This episode is for you if:

    - You end most days feeling depleted but can't point to anything that was actually that hard

    - You've snapped at someone and immediately thought "where did that even come from"

    - You check your phone first thing in the morning and somehow you're already behind before you've had coffee

    - You're technically busy all day but nothing important actually got done

    - You keep telling yourself you're just tired, and you are, but not for the reasons you think

If you're tired of ending every day wondering where your energy went, the self-coaching guide for this episode will help you figure that out. It's got the reflection questions and reframes to actually use what you heard today not just think about it.
