    Description of Prayer (Ṣalāh)
    Prayer in Islam, known as Ṣalāh, is the daily act of worship that connects a believer directly with Allah. It is the second pillar of Islam and the most important obligation after faith. Muslims pray five times a day at prescribed times, turning toward the Kaʿbah in Makkah, following a set pattern of standing, bowing, prostrating, and sitting while reciting verses from the Qur’an and supplications.
    Ṣalāh is not just physical movement — it is a spiritual conversation with Allah. It teaches discipline, humility, patience, and mindfulness of God. Through prayer, a believer remembers their purpose, seeks forgiveness, asks for guidance, and finds peace of heart.
    Importance of Prayer
    It strengthens faith and keeps a person mindful of Allah.
    It prevents wrongdoing and purifies the soul.
    It brings inner peace and comfort during hardship.
    It is the first deed a person will be questioned about on the Day of Judgment.
    In simple words:
    Prayer is the believer’s daily meeting with Allah — a moment of peace, reflection, and devotion.

    Tafseer / Explanation of Qur’an 7:43–58
    These verses from the Qur’an (Surah Al-A‘raf) describe scenes of the Hereafter, lessons from nature, and reminders about guidance and gratitude.
    Verses 43–44 — People of Paradise
    Allah describes the believers entering Paradise with their hearts purified from hatred and pain. They will praise Allah for guiding them and recognize that His promise was true. A call will be made declaring that Paradise is their inheritance for what they used to do.
    Lesson: True success is Allah’s guidance and a clean heart.
    Verses 45–47 — People of Hell and the Barrier
    Those who misled others and denied truth will face punishment. Between Paradise and Hell is a barrier (Al-A‘raf) where people recognize both groups by their signs. They long for Paradise and fear being among wrongdoers.
    Lesson: Actions and beliefs determine one’s final destination.
    Verses 48–51 — Warning to Arrogant Disbelievers
    The arrogant who mocked believers will be denied mercy. They took religion as play and were deceived by worldly life. On Judgment Day, they will be forgotten just as they forgot the meeting with Allah.
    Lesson: Pride and neglect of faith lead to regret.
    Verses 52–53 — The Qur’an as Clear Guidance
    Allah states that He has brought people a Book explained with knowledge, guidance, and mercy. Those who ignored it will finally realize the truth when punishment comes.
    Lesson: Revelation is a mercy; ignoring it is a loss.
    Verses 54–56 — Signs of Allah’s Power
    Allah reminds humanity that He created the heavens and earth, controls the night and day, sun, moon, and stars, and commands all affairs. People are instructed to call upon Him humbly and avoid corruption on earth.
    Lesson: Recognizing Allah’s power should lead to worship and humility.
    Verses 57–58 — Rain as a Sign of Resurrection
    Rain revives dead land, producing vegetation by Allah’s permission. This is compared to resurrection—just as dead earth comes alive, humans will be raised after death. Good soil produces crops easily, while bad soil yields little.
    Lesson: Hearts are like soil—pure hearts accept guidance; corrupt hearts resist it.

    The Hereafter is real and just.
    Guidance is Allah’s gift.
