Today we remember Venerable Seraphim of Vyritsa, a man who lived through great trials and remained steadfast in his faith. Born Basil Muraviev in 1865, he cared for his family from a young age, later becoming a successful businessman before dedicating his life to God as a monk and spiritual father.Saint Seraphim endured arrests and harsh treatment under Communist rule, yet he continued to serve others with prayer, healing, and guidance. His life ended peacefully in 1949, leaving behind a legacy of holiness and hope for many who sought his counsel.
