  • 10 Second Frenchers I EP 66
    2026/04/07

The crew is back and kicking things off with a look at MLB Opening Day and the buzz surrounding the pre-season World Baseball Classic. We break down the biggest winners and losers from the international stage and early-season storylines, with a spotlight on Aaron Judge’s performance and what it all means for his season ahead, as well as a closer look at Team USA under Coach Mark DeRosa. From there, we hit the ice to preview the rapidly approaching NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs, discussing contenders, pretenders, and who might be poised to make a deep run.

Off the field, Patrick and Sean swap stories from their separate—but equally unforgettable—St. Patrick’s Day parade adventures bringing a little chaos and plenty of laughs. Todd keeps things rolling with another must-hear movie review, while Mike throws out an “interesting” question that sends the conversation in a direction no one quite expected. Patrick steps in to right the ship and brings it home with a PSA highlighting the upcoming Hogs for the Cause event, reminding listeners how they can get involved and support a great cause. • Small Craft Advisory: German Coast First Frost
    2026/03/10

In this latest Small Craft Advisory Beer Review, the crew heads down to Luling to check out German Coast Beer Company and their First Frost Citrus Wheat Ale. Brewed with Louisiana orange peel, this citrus wheat promises bright, refreshing flavor—and while the guys agree it’s a solid, well-made beer, the discussion quickly turns to whether it quite delivers the punch you’d expect from the style. The beer is easy-drinking, light, and refreshing, but the citrus notes feel a little muted, and the finish could use just a bit more crispness to really make it pop. Still, it’s an enjoyable brew and sparks a good conversation about balance, drinkability, and what makes a wheat ale stand out.
Crack one open with us as we break it all down, and don’t forget to follow Small Craft Advisory on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, YouTube, or wherever you get your podcasts so you never miss an episode.

  • Bricked Up From Celebrini I EP 65
    2026/03/08

In this episode, we kick things off with a lively discussion about Mardi Gras! The guys share their experiences from the parades, talking about what they loved (and didn’t love) this year. Instead of joining the chaos of Endymion Saturday, Patrick, Todd, and Travis decided to switch it up and take a trip to the relatively new German Coast Beer Co in Luling. While they had plenty of good things to say about the brewery, they also shared some concerns about beer availability and a few small details that could use a tweak.

Next, we dive into a thrilling conversation about hockey, specifically the US vs Canada gold medal game in the Olympics. The competition was fierce, and we break down the highs, lows, and standout moments.

Finally, Todd takes us on a journey to Starville, MS, where he recaps his trip to Mississippi State’s campus. From catching a baseball game to touring the campus with his daughter, and more.

  • Small Craft Advisory: The Modelos
    2026/02/11

Crack open a cold one and hop aboard for this week’s segment of Small Craft Advisory, where the tasting notes are crisp but the conversation is a little choppy. In this episode, we’re setting our sights on a triple-threat lineup from the house of Modelo: the classic Modelo Especial, the robust Modelo Negra, and the seasonal newcomer, Modelo Noche Especial. While we start with the best intentions of a professional review, the "advisory" part of our name quickly takes center stage. Before we know it, the tasting notes take a bizarre turn into the worlds of vintage cough syrups, the delicate tannins of Pinot Noirs, and the dark depths of aged rums.

It takes a considerable amount of effort—and a very lengthy sidebar—to finally steer the ship back to the beer at hand, but we eventually find our way home. Whether you’re here for the Cerveza or the chaos, make sure you don’t miss a single voyage. Remember to follow us on Spotify or wherever you catch your favorite podcasts to stay updated on our latest reviews. • Sculpturez Faded Him Up | EP 63
    2026/02/05

The stage is set in Santa Clara! After eleven years, we are getting the ultimate rematch: the Seattle Seahawks vs. the New England Patriots. But this isn't Brady vs. Wilson; it’s the dawn of a new era featuring Drake Maye and Sam Darnold.

In this episode, we break down every angle of the Big Game, from the coaching chess match to the special teams units that might actually decide the score.

Before we talk X’s and O’s, Russell takes a moment of silence for a cause near and dear to his heart.

Once the whistle blows on our analysis, we dive deep into the trenches to determine who holds the edge. From the high-flying offensive schemes to the suffocating defensive units and the often-overlooked impact of special teams.

The conversation then shifts from the field to the front office as we discuss the final coaching hires of the 2026 cycle. We explore what these new leadership roles mean for the future of the league and which franchises just hit the jackpot. To wrap things up, we put our reputations on the line with our official Super Bowl LX score predictions. We also highlight our favorites for the MVP trophy, debating whether a quarterback will hoist the award or if a dark horse has a legitimate chance.

  • Small Craft Advisory: Saloon Door Fluffy Nuts
    2026/02/04

Hold onto your glasses—this might be a record-breaker! In this segment of Small Craft Advisory, the guys tackle a heavyweight contender from Texas: Saloon Door Brewing’s Fluffy Nuts.

At a massive 9.6% ABV, this Peanut Butter and Marshmallow Imperial Cream Ale promised a lot on paper, and boy, did it deliver. In fact, this may be our highest-rated beer in segment history. With the "lowest" score sitting at a 3.8 and multiple 4.5 out of 5 ratings hitting the table, it’s safe to say the crew was impressed.

    • The Flavor Profile: Everyone agreed the palate was loaded with ample amounts of creamy peanut butter and just enough marshmallow fluff to round it out.

    • The Danger Zone: The most shocking part? It was so well-balanced that it didn't taste or feel like a 9.6% beer. It’s dangerously smooth—so smooth that having more than one or two might leave you on the floor.

    • The Commitment: While most of the guys cautioned against the high ABV, Patrick was ready to go all in. He enjoyed the brew so much he claimed he’d "willingly sign up" for the floor if it meant drinking more Fluffy Nuts.

Is this the ultimate dessert beer, or is it a trap for your Friday night? Check out the full breakdown to see why the scores skyrocketed for this one.

  • Small Craft Advisory: Nola Brewing Blackberry Squeeze
    2026/02/03

Grab a seat at the bar! In this segment of Small Craft Advisory, the crew dives into a local staple with a fruity twist: NOLA Brewing’s Blackberry Squeeze. This 5.5% ABV wheat ale promises a refreshing burst of berry, but did it hit the mark for everyone on the panel?

The scores were solid across the board, but as always, the devil is in the details (and the fruit profile). Here’s how the breakdown went:

    • The High Note: Todd led the pack with the session's most notable score, finding plenty to love in this purple-hued pour.

    • The Middle Ground: Travis and Sean both landed in the mid-to-high 3s, appreciating it as a well-crafted, easy-drinking wheat ale.

    • The Legend Factor: Patrick couldn’t help but draw parallels to the iconic Purple Haze. While the style and taste are in the same ballpark, he admits it’s a tough mountain to climb when you're competing against a local legend.

    • The Critique: Mike was the most vocal of the group. While he didn't hate it, he argued that with a name like "Blackberry Squeeze," he wanted a punch of fruit that just wasn't there. For Mike, the "squeeze" was a bit too subtle, leading to his lower rating.
