概要

This is a space for mindful mamas committed to living their best lives while raising kids to thrive. The ones setting boundaries, breaking generational patterns, making learning a lifestyle, and raising their kids with intention—even when it feels messy or misunderstood. I’m Jamie—a mama, wellness coach, and cancer survivor—here to share what I’m learning and have the conversations I wish more moms were having. In each episode, you’ll hear either a journal-style solo from me or a raw, inspiring interview with another mom on the wellness train. We’ll talk about supporting our bodies through movement, nourishment, rest, and rhythm; regulating our nervous systems, ditching diet culture, living cyclically, raising conscious kids, and coming home to ourselves—over and over again. No shame. No shoulds. Just stories, insights, and reminders that you’re not doing this alone. Because when moms feel grounded, inspired, and wildly well—everybody benefits. 🫶Copyright 2026 Jamie Hardy Cooper 人間関係 代替医療・補完医療 個人的成功 子育て 自己啓発 衛生・健康的な生活

  • Resistance Training for Moms: How to Build Strength, Support Longevity & Feel Good in Your Body (with AJ Wiggins)
    2026/03/31

In this episode, I’m sitting down with fitness professional and founder of AJ’s Personal Training here in St. Pete, AJ Wiggins, to talk about something that becomes more and more important as we age — resistance training.

Because this isn’t just about building strength. It’s about supporting coordination, balance, endurance, power, agility, and metabolic efficiency — so we can move well, feel capable, and age gracefully.

And yet, so many women have been taught to fear lifting weights, rely on cardio, or believe it’s simply too late to start.

AJ brings over 15 years of experience working with women — especially in their 40s and beyond — and what I love about her approach is how supportive and sustainable it is. It’s not about doing more… it’s about building resilience in a way that actually fits your life.

    In this conversation, we explore:

    1. Why resistance training matters so much in midlife
    2. The truth about “getting bulky”
    3. How it supports hormones, metabolism, and longevity
    4. What actually helps women stay consistent

This episode feels like both an invitation and a reminder — whether you’re just getting started, or you’ve been on this journey and want to reconnect with what matters.

Resistance training is something you can build and keep building. And it has the power to support you in living a strong, capable, and fully present life. 💪
