An einem sonnigen Tag am Ende des Schwimmkurses in der Kita steht die Seepferdchen-Prüfung im Freibad an. Der Schwimmlehrer und Bademeister Ferdinand Frosch hat die Kinder gut vorbereitet. Als der Termin gekommen ist, stellt Heike Hamster den Kindern nicht nur verschiedene Instrumente vor, sondern sie lässt sie sogar abwechselnd darauf spielen. Das macht den Kindern einen Riesenspaß. Dabei stellt sich sogar heraus, dass eines der Kinder eine besonders große Begabung besitzt.

Der Tierische Kindergarten feiert seinen 10. Geburtstag. Zu diesem Anlass haben Frau Schuhu und die Erzieherinnen Frau Schnatter und Fräulein Hops etwas ganz Besonderes für die Kinder vorbereitet: Eine spannende und abwechslungsreiche Schnitzeljagd durch den Glücksdorfer Wald, bei der sie einige knifflige Rätsel lösen müssen. Es lohnt sich, denn am Ende wartet ein großer Schatz auf die Kleinen. Und das ist nicht alles – ein besonderer Gast, den sie alle mögen, hat sich auch noch angekündigt.

In Glücksdorf schneit es, und die Kinder des Tierischen Kindergartens freuen sich riesig darüber. Gemeinsam beschließen sie, im Garten einen Schneemann zu bauen – natürlich mit einer echten Karottennase, so wie es sich gehört. Doch schon am nächsten Tag fehlt die Nase des Schneemanns und am darauffolgenden Tag erneut. Die Kinder vermuten, dass ein Dieb die Möhre gestohlen haben muss. Wollodja und Karla legen sich daher auf die Lauer, um den Dieb auf frischer Tat zu ertappen...
