The final book of the Poseidon Trials trilogy...

Je me suis déjà fait des ennemis, dans la vie, mais jamais aussi puissants ni malveillants que la déesse de l'amour. La malédiction d'Aphrodite a transformé Arès, l'homme dont je commençais à tomber amoureuse, en bête sauvage assoiffée de sang qui n'a plus qu'une idée en tête, me voler toute ma magie. Le pire, c'est qu'il nous reste encore une Épreuve à réaliser afin de sauver mon ami des griffes d'un terrifiant démon des Enfers.

Pour sauver mon seul ami, je dois remporter les trois épreuves prévues par les Seigneurs de guerre : Douleur, Panique et Terreur. Et pour ça, je dois coopérer avec le connard le plus arrogant, le plus obstiné et le moins fiable de l'Olympe. Non seulement Arès refuse de m'apprendre à utiliser mes pouvoirs, mais il ne cesse d'essayer de me les voler. Et il a franchi une limite qui devrait être impardonnable.

Quand un dieu guerrier aussi splendide que redoutable prétend que je suis son unique moyen de restaurer son pouvoir perdu, je sais que je ne peux pas lui faire confiance. Arès a beau être le plus bel homme que j'aie jamais vu, il correspond en tout point à la brute que les mythes dépeignent. Cela dit, je ne suis pas un ange, moi non plus, et il déclenche un feu en moi... un brasier que j'ai passé toute ma vie à essayer de contrôler.

The prophecy must be about my sister, the only other living being with our kind's blood in her veins, but she's been in a magical sleep for eight years and is slowly turning to stone. I will do anything to save her, but the answers I need are inside Poseidon’s underwater palace. The fiercely powerful ocean god rules his realm with brutal efficiency, and nobody is ever allowed to get close to him.

Les dégâts qu'il m'a causés par le passé. La seule chose que je sais, cependant, c'est que mes sentiments pour Hadès sont bien réels.

One thing I did not expect when spending the night with the devil, was waking up the next day with wings on my back. But then, I also didn’t expect to be caught up in a second murder - this time of somebody I actually know, or to be attacked by creatures from hell, and to find out my parents were keeping an epic secret from me. All this might be tolerable, if I only could fall into Nox’s arms and let him take me to that place that only he can.

When my impossibly sexy boss, Mr Nox, steps in and offers to help I’m initially relieved. But his help comes with a caveat. He wants something in return. Oh, and here’s the kicker. He claims he’s Lucifer. The devil. A God of Sin. Things don’t go my way, and I’m forced to accept a deal with the devil. I know what he wants. I can see the burning desire dancing in his piercing blue eyes. He wants me. And the longer I spend in his company, the more I begin to crave his touch, his kiss, his fierce passion

I’ve made a few enemies in my time, but none as powerful, or spiteful, as the Goddess of Love. Aphrodite’s curse has turned Ares from the man I was falling in love with into a savage beast, crazed with blood-lust and desperate to steal my magic. Worse, we still have one Trial left to complete in order to save my friend from a rogue Underworld demon, a Trial set by the spirit of Terror.

In order to save my only friend’s life, I am being forced to complete three Trials set by the Lords of War; Pain, Panic, and Terror. And I have to work with the most arrogant, stubborn, untrustworthy jerk in Olympus to do so. Ares not only won’t teach me how to use my powers, he also keeps trying to steal them. And he's crossed a line that should be unforgivable.

Anger management isn’t so bad when your shrink is gorgeous. It’s less great when you turn up to find him dead on the floor, and an armored giant dressed like a freaking ancient warrior standing over his body, though. Ares, the God of War, has lost his power and the only way for him to get it back? Me. Apparently, I’m a goddess. One with the power of war. I mean, it does explain a lot.

I’m trapped in actual hell. And just about everything here is trying to kill me. Even the god who claims he once loved me has come pretty close to ending my life. But things are about to change. I’m fed up of being Persephone - human underdog in the Hades Trials. I’ve managed to awaken a little bit of the goddess inside me, and now I have power, I’m not afraid to use it. Although I don’t actually have a clue how to.

We have to follow a series of clues across some of the most dangerous parts of Olympus, to try and free a Titan trapped by the Lord of the Olympians himself. And even more confusing, my absent mom has finally decided to show up. It's not going to be easy, but it's the only way we can save the souls that were stolen by the demon that I let loose. My mistake cost innocent people their souls. And now I'm the only one who can fix it.

So, it turns out Titan power is pretty awesome. Only I can’t control my new gift and that’s not only embarrassing but also dangerous. And I’m sure our new professor is one of the two demons I accidentally let loose in Olympus. Icarus says we should lay low for a while but every time Professor Neos flashed me those red eyes I want to challenge him. And when students start collapsing to the ground with their souls stolen, I don’t have a choice but to act.

Titans have powers that even Zeus, Lord of the Olympians, is scared of. And apparently, I’m a Titan. When I finally meet my mom for the first time ever, she tells me that I’m descended from the almighty Oceanus, drags me under the sea, and dumps me at Olympus Academy to learn to use my powers. And boy, did she forget to tell me a few things!

Es sieht so aus, als ob der Olymp viel gefährlicher ist, als ich dachte. Nachdem ich ein fliegendes Piratenschiff ergattert habe, das einst dem verschollenen Herrscher Oceanus gehört hatte, verlasse ich die Akademie und begebe mich auf ein Abenteuer. Und ich breche nicht allein auf. Meine Freunde Ikarus, Zali und Thom kommen auch mit. Doch in einer seltsamen Wendung der Ereignisse kommen auch zwei der Leute aus der Akademie mit, die mich am meisten hassen.
