Mary Ann couldn’t quite balance her body on her new roller skates. Her parents had given her a pair of blue-and-white roller skates for her birthday, and she really wanted to try them out and learn how to use them. She had put on her helmet, knee pads, elbow pads, and wrist guards, and her brother Rupert was coaching her, letting her hold on to his arm for support every time she was ready to fall.

All the girls at Mary Ann’s school hated their hair. Lydia, who had beautiful long, straight blonde hair, complained about it. Bethany, who had shiny red hair that others would kill for, hated her hair color. Suddenly, they had an idea.

Gary loved playing in the water, but he was in the mood for something different today. Just as he was about to leave the park, he saw a couple of kids with boards on wheels. They were jumping and riding rails flawlessly.... Gary was really impressed by their tricks.

Gary slept in for once and skipped his morning workout. He had something much more fun to do today! As he’s trying to learn a move that he read about on his own, Sensei steps onto the tatami mat. Today, he is going to teach them a new move called the two-finger strike! Keith is really excited. He had no idea they would learn this in class! This is an awesome move. You can strike a person with two fingers, hit a specific nerve, and make them freeze in place! He has to master the two-finger strike!
