Runaway is the story of Sophie, a young woman who has spent her life studying and mastering the arcane practice of magic, forced to flee her home and a promising future in Zo’rahn—a land that esteems mages above all others—in order to escape the clutches of those who would use her talents for their own designs.

With the aid of a mysterious order from a faraway country, Sophie will have to make her way across arid plains, through primeval forests, and over treacherous mountain passes if she is to have even a chance at freedom. Dogging her footsteps are the agents of her mentor, one of the most influential mages in all of Zo’rahn.
