  • 144. Goderich 200 - Episode 1 - The Bicentennial Committee
    2026/06/29

We are so excited to launch a new series with this episode.

Picking up where the Goderich Chronicles left off, this is Goderich 200, a monthly series featuring the people, places and history of Goderich as we prepare for our bicentennial celebrations in 2027.

As our big birthday approaches, we will keep you up to date on all the plans for next year’s celebrations so you can get important dates on your calendar and be ready for the party of a life time as we 200 yrs old.

Episode 1 features interviews with members of the Town of Goderich 2027 Bicentennial committee who are already working hard to prepare those celebrations: Liz Black-Petrie, Susan Goodman O'Brien, Laura Herman and Garry La Rose.

Goderich 200 is brought to you by the Town of Goderich and the 2027 Bicentennial Committee.

  • 143. Jim Ginn (Mayor Central Huron) + Preview of Goderich 200 (Radio Sessions 06/20/26)
    2026/06/26

In this episode, Jim Ginn, the Mayor of the Municipality of Central Huron chats with us about his career as a farmer, politician and community champion (my words not his). We'll also talk a bit about a Municipality of Central Huron donation made recently to the AMGH Magnetic Moments campaign.

I also want to give you a little taste of something brand new :) Coming soon ... Goderich 200! A series that as a part of our A Life That’s Good family, picks up where the Goderich Chronicles left off and celebrates the upcoming bicentennial of the prettiest town in Canada.

Stay tuned for the inaugural episode, dropping on Founder’s Day on June 29th. Here you'll hear a part of the conversation I had on my radio show with Liz Black-Petrie, the chair of the bicentennial committee.
