Ricky Kasso was a kid on the edge. His parents threw him out of the house and he was living in the woods and sleeping in friend's garages at only fifteen years old. Ricky was also doing a lot of hard drugs. He formed a little gang with his buddies, Gary Lauwers, Albert Quinones, and Jimmy Troiano. They called themselves the Knights of the Black Circle. After Gary stole drugs from Ricky, tensions rose and one night, it all came to a head in the woods. By the time it was over, Gary Lauwers would be gone forever. Ricky Kasso wasn't far behind him.

Gene and Marsha Spriggs had a lot of big ideas. They opened their home up and served coffee to fellow 1970s hippies in Chattanooga, Tennessee and before long, they had a regular group showing up. They started calling themselves The Light Brigade and soon, they'd made the First Presbyterian Church mad at them. So they broke off. Soon, reports of child abuse, extreme control, racism and homophobia were coming from inside the cult. They ran away to Vermont but things only got worse there. There are many Yellow Deli locations in America and personally, I'd want to know if my dollars were going to support hate and abuse.
