  • Honoring the Temple | Why Secular Fitness Culture is Failing Christian Women ...and What To Do Instead
    2026/06/22

In this episode, we’re exploring what it truly means to honor the body as a temple of the Holy Spirit and why so many Christian women feel disconnected from modern fitness culture. If you’ve ever struggled with body image, comparison, fitness guilt, burnout, or wondering how faith and fitness fit together, this conversation is for you.

    We’ll discuss:

    • What Scripture says about caring for your body

    • Why secular fitness culture often leaves women feeling empty

    • The difference between vanity and stewardship

    • How strength, mobility, and longevity support God’s calling on your life

    • What it means to become the woman God created you to be

    • Why fitness can be an act of worship rather than self-obsession

    • How movement, mindfulness, and ministry intersect

Through Biblical reflection, practical fitness wisdom, and faith-filled encouragement, we’ll explore a healthier approach to wellness—one rooted in purpose, stewardship, and spiritual growth rather than appearance alone.

As we discuss faith, fitness, healing, and stewardship, we’ll also reflect on Jesus’ words to the woman who reached for Him in faith:

“Take heart, daughter; your faith has made you well.” (Matthew 9:22)

Whether you’re rebuilding your health, renewing your mind, strengthening your body, or learning to see yourself through God’s eyes, this episode is an invitation to move toward wholeness in Christ.

    Scriptures discussed:

    • 1 Corinthians 6:19-20
    • Romans 12:1
    • Colossians 3:23
    • Psalm 139:14

  • The Beloved Disciple & The Body | "What is That to You?"
    2026/06/08

Disordered Eating, Comparison, & Healing Through Identity in Christ

“What is that to you? You follow Me.” — John 21:22

In this episode of Fit For.M, we explore how comparison shapes our relationship with our bodies, food, fitness, and identity. Drawing from Jesus’ words to Peter in John 21, I share personal experiences with disordered eating, body image struggles, adoption, emotional eating, restriction, and the search for worth through appearance and achievement.

Together, we’ll discuss the difference between stewarding our bodies and finding our identity in them, and how healing begins when we stop looking sideways and start seeing ourselves through the eyes of Christ …responding to Jesus’ invitation:

    “You follow Me.”

If you’ve ever compared your body, your healing journey, your calling, or your life to someone else’s, this conversation is for you.

My prayer is that this episode encourages you to release comparison, embrace your God-given identity, and experience greater freedom in Christ.

Because you were never created to become someone else.

You were created to become who God made you to be.

  • When God Asks Us to Release Our Grip | Leaving the Nets and Following Jesus
    2026/06/01

“Father, I desire that they also, whom you have given me, may be with me where I am…” (John 17:24)

Welcome to the very first episode of Fit For.M (Movement • Mindfulness • Ministry).

In this introductory episode, I share my story: how God began calling me beyond fitness, movement, and wellness into a deeper work of spiritual formation, discipleship, and ministry.

Through Luke 5 and Jesus’ call to Peter, we explore what it means to stand on the shore between what is familiar and where God is leading us next. We discuss surrender, purpose, identity, and the courage to release even the good things God has given us when He is inviting us into something more.

    Together we’ll talk about:

    • My journey from movement educator to Christian podcaster and ministry leader

    • Peter’s call to leave his nets and follow Jesus

    • The wisdom of Father Gallagher and Ignatian spirituality

    • Holding God’s gifts with gratitude while remaining open-handed before Him

    • Why our bodies matter as temples of the Holy Spirit

    • John 17 and Jesus’ prayer for those the Father has given Him

    • How the Holy Spirit equips ordinary believers to participate in God’s work

If you’ve ever wondered whether God might be calling you into a new season, asking you to release an old identity, or inviting you into deeper trust, I pray this conversation encourages you.

    You are not forgotten.

    You are not disqualified.

    You are not walking alone.

    You are known by name.

    Called with purpose.

    And deeply loved by God.

Thank you for being here at the beginning of this journey. I hope you’ll continue walking alongside me as we explore faith, fitness, healing, spiritual growth, and becoming who God created us to be.
