Genevieve Sigmund is the President of Platinum Storage Group, a leading real estate management, acquisition, and development firm specializing in self-storage, headquartered in Newport Beach, California. In her role, she provides strategic leadership across acquisitions, operations, development, and investor relations, helping position the company as a premier operator in the self-storage industry. She also helped lead a strategic investment in Tenant Inc., a SaaS platform dedicated to managing self-storage portfolios, further enhancing the company’s operational capabilities and technology-driven approach.

Prior to joining Platinum Storage Group, Genevieve built a strong foundation in politics, including working on Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger’s re-election campaign. She attended and graduated from the University of Southern California with honors in Political Science in 2004.

Genevieve is deeply engaged in both industry and community leadership. She has served on various boards and in leadership positions within the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO), including the Real Estate Industry Network, where she was involved in the Women in Real Estate Network. She is also a board member of the Orange County American Heart Association, reflecting her commitment to impactful community involvement.

She is especially passionate about her personal and professional journey and is committed to sharing lessons learned and mentoring the next generation of leaders.

Today, we’re joined by Matt Miller. Matt is a CVCS parent who serves as CEO of Life Line Screening, where his team helps people detect serious health risks before they become life-changing crises. His work sits at the intersection of healthcare, data, technology, and leadership.

He has helped build companies from the ground up, led teams through high-stakes decisions, and wrestled with what it means to use innovation responsibly when real human lives are affected.

Today we welcome Mr. Mark Kockerbeck, Director of Software Engineering at Google, where he leads teams working at the forefront of artificial intelligence and advertising technology.

Over his 25-year career, Mr. Kockerbeck has helped shape some of the most recognizable names in tech—beginning with video games at Blizzard Entertainment, where he worked on iconic titles like Overwatch, World of Warcraft, and Diablo; then to consumer devices at Amazon’s Alexa, where he led development for global AI experiences used by more than 50 million people; and now to Google, where he’s helping build the future of AI and digital innovation.

He holds multiple U.S. patents and has led hundreds of engineers, product designers, and data scientists around the world. More than that, he’s passionate about building diverse teams, mentoring young leaders, and connecting technology with purpose.

Today, we’re honored to welcome Dr. Geoffrey Sigmund, a CVCS parent and Lead Radiologist specializing in Neuroradiology and Musculoskeletal Imaging.

He’s an active member of the Radiologic Society of North America and has received multiple awards for his research and clinical work, including the RSNA Roentgen Resident/Fellow Research Award and the Howard Hughes Medical Institute Award.

Outside of his professional life, Dr. Sigmund is part of our own CVCS community. He and his wife have two children at our elementary school, and we’re grateful to have him share his expertise and perspective as a parent who believes deeply in the mission of Christian education, the integration of faith and learning, and the ways Christian faith connects to the field of medicine.
