概要

Every zodiac sign has a shadow — where its greatest strengths twist into something unrecognizable. Libra's charm becomes manipulation. Scorpio's intensity becomes obsession. Cancer's devotion becomes a cage. Signs of Danger is a true crime astrology podcast exploring the darkest corners of human behavior. Each episode, host Jillian Clemmons breaks down one sign's psychology — then walks you through the real killers and predators who embody that shadow at its most extreme. The stars don't make killers. But they do leave fingerprints.Jillian Clemmons ノンフィクション犯罪

On December 8, 1980, Mark David Chapman had already gotten the autograph. John Lennon had signed his copy of Double Fantasy on the sidewalk outside the Dakota. Chapman was overwhelmed by Lennon's sincerity — the kindness wasgenuine, and for a moment it was enough. Then it wasn't. He stayed on the sidewalk. He waited five hours. He fired five shots when Lennon walked back in. He stood there with The Catcher in the Rye and waited to be arrested.

On the evening of Good Friday, April 14, 1865, an actor walked into Ford's Theatre. He had performed there. He had bored a peephole in the door of the presidential box. He had barricaded the outer door. He waited for a specific laugh line in Act III — he knew it would produce a large enough audience reaction to muffle a gunshot. He fired. He shouted Sic semper tyrannisfrom the stage. He broke his leg jumping to the boards. He was found twelve days later, cornered in a tobacco barn in Virginia, refusing to surrender. His final words: "Useless, useless." He had been horrified, hiding in the swamps while still hunted, to find the press condemning him rather than celebrating him.

Same birthday — May 10 — separated by 117 years.

Six Taurus assassins. The fan. The actor. The security guard with a Ryder truck full of fertilizer. The bomb-maker. The disgraced Scout leader. The college student with a smiley face mapped in pipe bombs. Different ideologies, different targets, different body counts. The same immovable Taurus certainty: I am right. The world will understand eventually. Five warning signs —including the capstone: the calm before detonation is not peace.

As the plane cruised at twenty-two thousand feet, David Burke walked to the lavatory. On the way, he dropped a note in his supervisor's lap: "Hi Ray. I think it's rather ironical that we ended up like this. I asked for some leniency for my family, remember? Well I got none, and you will get none." He drew the .44 Magnum he had borrowed from a coworker, shot his supervisor, shot both pilots, and brought the plane down into the Santa Lucia Mountains. All forty-three people on board died. He had been fired that morning for stealing from alcohol sales. He was told to have a nice day. He replied: I intend on having a very good day.

Amy Bishop killed her brother with a shotgun at twenty-one. It was ruled an accident. She sent pipe bombs to a professor. No charges. She punched a stranger in a restaurant screaming "I am Doctor Amy Bishop." Probation. When her tenure was denied, she walked into a faculty meeting and shot three colleagues dead. The gun jammed. That's the only reason the count stopped there.

John Orr wanted to be a cop. He was rejected for psychological instability. He became an arson investigator instead, and set fires in retail stores using timed incendiary devices so he could investigate them. He wrote a novel about an arson investigator who was smarter than every cop. His fingerprint was on a device.

Orville Lynn Majors was called the Angel of Death by his coworkers. They took bets on which patient would die during his shift. He said old people should be gassed. A statistician calculated that a patient was forty-two times more likely to die when he was on duty.

Six cases. The same mechanism. The job was not what they did — it was who they were. Seven warning signs, including the capstone: the insider is the person the institution is least equipped to suspect.

  • Taurus: The Dictator
    2026/05/05

His mother tried to abort him. When the boy was born, she would have nothing to do with him. The message installed before language, before memory: you are not wanted. You are nothing. He spent the next twenty-four years building more than twenty palaces while his people starved, plastering his face on every surface of his country, purging his party on live television, ordering survivors to shoot their own colleagues at gunpoint — making them complicit before the blood was dry. When American soldiers finally pulled him from a hole in the ground nine miles from his birthplace, he was unkempt, bearded, and described as a man resigned to his fate.

Rudolf Hess heard Hitler speak in a Munich beer hall and described the experience as being overcome by a vision. He never recovered an independent thought afterward. He flew solo across enemy airspace on an unauthorized peace mission in 1941, hoping to win back the approval of the man who had already been moving him aside. Hitler publicly disowned him. Hess spent the next forty-six years in a prison cell professing uncritical loyalty to a dead dictator. At Nuremberg, he said: "I regret nothing."

Adolf Hitler refused to authorize retreats. Not occasionally.Systematically. Categorically. He told Field Marshal Paulus to hold Stalingrad to the last man and the last round. Of 280,000 soldiers, fewer than 6,000 survived Soviet captivity. He held the ground — all of it, everywhere, always — because losing ground was something this man was constitutionally incapable of doing.

Three Taurus men. The nation as possession. The self as territory. The claim that could not be surrendered. Warning signs for every scale — from the hall of government to the office of twelve.
