概要

Spirituality for Leaders is a podcast exploring how spirituality, consciousness, and inner awareness can transform the way we lead. In a world where leaders face constant pressure, rapid change, and rising levels of burnout, this podcast offers a different perspective on leadership development: leadership rooted in presence, self-awareness, and spiritual insight. The show explores how spiritual practices and conscious leadership can help leaders build resilience, maintain clarity, and lead with purpose. Through a mix of solo episodes and thoughtful interviews with leaders, thinkers, and practitioners, the podcast explores topics such as conscious leadership, mindful leadership, spiritual growth, leadership wellbeing, and burnout prevention. Each episode connects inner development with real-world leadership challenges, offering reflections and practical ideas that leaders can apply in their professional and personal lives. Solo episodes run around 30 minutes and explore key ideas, perspectives, and practices that support conscious leadership. Interview episodes run around an hour and feature conversations with guests who are integrating spirituality, mindfulness, and personal growth into their leadership and organisational work. If you're a leader seeking greater balance, clarity, and meaning in the way you lead, Spirituality for Leaders offers insights, conversations, and practices to support your journey.2023 スピリチュアリティ 哲学 社会科学

  • EP 124 Are you afraid of your competitiveness?
    2026/04/03

In this week's episode we explore how the concept of ego can help leaders who are highly competitive.

I start with my own fear about how competitive I am and how it has stopped me from taking part in competitions until I reached sixty.

Spiritual circles frown upon competitiveness as it is associated with the ego. But you can be both competitive and spiritual and spirituality has tools to help keep that competitiveness in check so that you use it for the highest good of everyone.

  • EP 133 Self-leadership with Wani Manly
    2026/03/27

Wani is the first guest in the new format of the podcast and before we dig into the content of the episode, I wanted to give the behind the scenes of how she came to be a guest. On Friday the 20th of March, I decided to cancel all my future guests on the podcast. I was booked until November 2026. It was a bold move. Once I had messaged the potential guests, I wondered who I could interview for March as I always have one guest per month on the past Friday of the month. I reached out to a woman in a business Facebook community who specialised in burnout and waited.

On Monday at 2 am, which would have been Wani's Sunday, I received an email from Wani asking if I would consider her on the podcast. Her profile was perfectly aligned with the new feel of the podcast. Normally, I pre-interview my guests but I decided to go for it. The next day, we were recording the episode and it is EPIC.

Wani is an Intellectual Property Attorney from Miami, who left her career after receiving sign after sign, for a year, to move to Paris. She had already been on a spiritual journey for nine years, which started after September 11, 2001. After a year of those signs, she sold her home, her car and got rid of almost everything she possessed and moved to Paris. She didn't know the language and had only been there as a tourist once.

She says this is the moment she stepped into what she calls "Self-leadership" which she defines as self-awareness and the willingness to look within, including at our shadow. It requires us to do the work, which can be really hard at times. For Wani, what it looked like was to stop being so hard on herself and more open to life.

Even thought she had made the decision to fully pursue a career in public speaking and change management as a consultant, it was hard for her to let go of her lawyer identity.

To hear her share about what helps her stay centred when life gets overwhelming (how much more overwhelming than a move to a country where you don't speak the language?) and so much more wisdom, click here.

  • EP 132 Funny I Was Just Thinking About You
    2026/03/20

Have you ever had that moment… where someone pops into your mind out of nowhere—and then, almost instantly, they message you? Or you dream something so specific it feels impossible to ignore… and then it happens?

If you're someone who prides yourself on being logical, rational, scientifically minded… you've probably dismissed those moments. Coincidence. Pattern-seeking. Noise.

    Until they happen again.
    And again.
    And again.

At some point, you start to wonder—what if this isn't random?

In today's episode, we're exploring that uncomfortable, fascinating space where logic meets experience. Where the things you can't explain begin to show up too often to ignore. And what that might mean—not just for how you understand the world—but for how you lead.

Because what if the leaders who make the best decisions aren't just analytical… but are also paying attention to something quieter, less measurable… and just as powerful?
