Most people train strength.
Some train cardio.
A few stretch.
Almost no one is intentionally training balance.
And yet balance might be one of the most important skills you’ll rely on for the rest of your life.
In this first episode, I’m making the case for why balance actually matters at any age.
Because balance isn’t just about falling.
It’s also about stepping off a curb without that little “whoa.”
Turning quickly without feeling unstable.
Walking on uneven ground with confidence.
Feeling capable in your own body.
The tricky part?
Balance tends to decline quietly. Most people don’t realize it’s getting worse until they actually test it.
We’ll talk about why that happens, how childhood movement built your balance without you thinking about it, and why adulthood slowly stops challenging it.
Balance isn’t something you either “have” or “don’t have.”
It’s a skill. And skills fade when we stop practicing them.
If you care about staying strong, capable, and independent long term then listen in and share with someone you care about.
Try this after you listen: stand on one leg for 30 seconds without holding onto anything.
How did it feel?
This podcast is about building a body that works for you, not just now, but for future you.
