  • He Just Needs Your Yes
    2026/06/02

    This episode wasn't planned.

God asked me to show up with my mic and nothing else. So that's what I did.

I'd spent the week going down a planning spiral, trying to prepare, trying to be enough, trying to figure out exactly what He needed from me before I could start. He stopped me mid-spiral with one question: do you trust me or not?

In this episode I sit with something a lot of us carry quietly. The feeling that we're still not there. Not spiritual enough. Not ready. Not prepared. I share what happens when you've spent so much energy trying to figure out how to be used by God that you forget He never asked for that in the first place.

We walk through the parable of the talents together (Matthew 25), and I talk about a situation I'm in the middle of right now, one I don't have a tidy ending for yet. The messy middle is the whole point.

He doesn't need your plan. He doesn't need your perfected prayer life. He doesn't need you to have it all figured out.

    He just needs your yes.

  • I'm Scared to Talk About My GLP-1 Journey. But I'm Ready.
    2026/05/26

I've been on a GLP-1 for almost a year. Not for the reason you're assuming.

This isn't a weight loss story. This is the story of a body that was at a constant eight out of ten in pain despite doing everything right. Daily walks. Strength training. Nutrition. Therapy. Nervous system work. Chiropractic. Massage. Physio therapy. Four years of consistent, intentional work before I ever considered medication.

The GLP-1 wasn't my first answer. It was what happened after I had already done the work and my body was still keeping score.

I kept this to myself for almost a year. Not because I was hiding it. Because I already knew what people would assume, and I wasn't ready to let a label tell my story before I could.

This is likely the last episode of The Becoming Podcast about my body. There is more of me on the other side of this chapter.

    Galatians 6:4-5. Proverbs 31:25.

  • Wellness Gone Wrong: What a Decade in Fitness Really Cost Me
    2026/05/19

For almost 10 years, you taught women how to take care of their bodies. Somewhere in the middle of it, you stopped tending to your own soul.

This week Sarah is telling the whole story. The decade in the fitness industry. The Tampa airport moment that took her right back to the gym she was fat shamed in a decade ago. The woman who looked her dead in the eyes in front of her four year old. The hour of shaking before the plane took off. And the quiet sentence she heard underneath all of it. It’s the heart of the matter.

This is not a takedown of wellness. It is what happens when we tend the body and starve the soul. Sarah unpacks what a decade in fitness gave her, what it cost her, and what shifted when she stopped chasing the body and started tending to her soul. Psalm 23. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20. One small practice that changes everything.

The body is the dwelling place. Not the destination.

    What is your one thing?

  • He Named the Promise After Her Laugh
    2026/05/12

My name is Sarah. And for most of my life, I only knew that my name meant "princess." I didn't realize how much my story mirrored the woman I was named after. The Sarah in the Bible who laughed at God's promise, tried to manufacture her own miracle, and spent years in the becoming before the fulfillment ever arrived.

The Becoming Podcast: Faithful & Unfinished. Episode 13.

    Grounding Scripture: Genesis 21:1-7

    In this episode:

    • How my story mirrors Sarah's. From forcing the promise to finding the laughter.
    • My "Hagar moment." Opening two fitness businesses without asking God, and the burnout that followed.
    • Sleeping on an air mattress in my studio, wondering how this was my life.
    • The lawsuit that forced me to let go, and how God used it as a blessing in disguise.
    • The prophetic word at a conference: "Just like Sarah laughed in the Bible, you're not too old, you're not too late, and God will do it."
    • Why Isaac means "laughter," and why God named the promise after the disbelief Sarah was most ashamed of.

"If we build in our own strength, we have to carry it in our own strength. And that's what I was doing. I don't want to do that anymore. Neither were you meant to."

  • Why I left Body Positivity and stopped talking about my body
    2026/05/05

For ten years, Sarah talked about bodies. Hers. Other women’s. She built a fitness business, a media platform, and a public identity on a movement she believed in. And somewhere in the middle of all of it, she stopped believing the version she was teaching.

This week, she tells the truth about the decade.

The fat-shaming at a women’s gym that pushed her into the work in the first place. Selling her condo to open her own studio. The very public attacks the day she did. The slow shift inside the body positive movement that no longer felt like the work she was called to. And the harder confession underneath all of it. She thought she was insecure about her body. She was not. She had never been fully accepting of herself, and the body was the easier thing to talk about.

Anchored in Proverbs 4:23, this episode is for the woman who has built her public identity on a version of herself she has quietly outgrown. The thing that made you is not the thing that is keeping you. You are allowed to grow past a version of you that got you this far.

  • Called Before the Credentials | With Charity Power
    2026/04/28

Have you ever known that you were called to do something before you had a single piece of evidence to support it?

This episode is for her. The woman who is faithful in the hidden season. Who keeps showing up when no one around her can see what she's building yet.

Charity Power is a prophetic coach who helps women hear from God and walk into the purpose they have been carrying, sometimes for years, sometimes in complete silence.

Her story is one of staying the course when every room said to sit down.

Jeremiah 1:5 grounds this conversation: before you were formed, you were known.

The calling came before the credentials. That is not a mistake. That is the point.

  • Letting Go Is Not Losing | Isaiah 43 & Faith
    2026/04/21

She cut eight inches off her hair. It was not about her hair.

This episode is about the moment something shifts on the inside before anything changes on the outside. And about what happens when you finally let go of the thing you have been holding past the season it belonged to.

Staying too long does not always look like stubbornness. Sometimes it looks like loyalty.
Sometimes it looks like faithfulness. But sometimes... and this is the thing nobody says out loud ... it is just fear dressed up as both.

Isaiah 43 grounds this episode: I am doing something new. I have already begun.
    Do you not see it?

The question is not whether God is making a way. The question is whether you are willing to stop standing in the rubble of the old one to find it.

  • The Dream You're Afraid to Say Out Loud (Psalm 37:4)
    2026/04/14

She has always known she was meant for big stages.

She has been ashamed of that for years.

This episode is the one Sarah was afraid to make. Not because the story was too hard --
but because the dream was too big to say out loud without sounding like someone who had
forgotten what her circumstances looked like.

But the dream did not leave during the bankruptcy. It did not leave during the broken
marriage. It did not leave when she was starting over at 40 with nothing certain in front
of her. It was still there.

And she has learned that a desire that survives everything it should have left is not
delusion. It is not arrogance. It is God refusing to let you forget what He put you
    here to do.

Psalm 37:4 grounds this conversation -- and reframes the desire itself. Not what He gives
you when you perform well enough. What He places in you when you are close enough to
    Him to receive it.

This episode is for the woman who has a dream she has never said out loud.
And is beginning to wonder if she is allowed to.
