  • Ep 5. - An Ayurvedic Guide to Thriving in Autumn

    Here in the Southern Hemisphere, it's well and truly happening: the mornings are cold, the afternoons and early evenings are dark, the air is crisp and, whether we like it or not, autumn is well on it's way with winter not far off.


    It's a time of year that can come with a lot of resistance and trepidation - but, what if instead of fighting it, we tapped into the science of Ayurveda to embrace the natural shift of the seasons, so that we don't just survive it, but thrive?


    In this episode, I share the key tips to surrendering to & thriving in the cooler months. So, make a cosy tea, settle in, and let's plan for winter together.

  • Ep 4. - A Practice for Circuit Breaking Old Patterns

    An 8 minute meditation to help create some space - to notice the pattern happening in the moment, and encourage responsiveness rather than reactivity.


    Based on the STOP technique from Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, this is a simple, contemplative style meditation that is best practiced in a quiet space, seated, with time for introspection.


    So, take a few minutes to reflect and redirect. You are more than capable of change - you just need space ♡

  • Ep 3 - “Why Do I Keep Doing This?!” - Why Knowing Better Doesn’t Always Mean Doing Better

    How often have you found yourself repeating the same patterns, behaving in the same way, even though you logically know what you want to do different - and even how to do it.


    Worse still, how often do you find yourself repeating behaviour when you know better, and then chastise yourself for it - feeling like you've failed, or there's something wrong with you.


    Struggling with the gap between knowing better and doing better is something I see in the therapy room a lot. And it's not a sign of personal failure, lack of discipline or lack of willpower.


    Let's talk about why we get stuck in patterns, and 3 simple ways we can start to shift from just knowing better to actually doing better.

  • Ep 2 - A Meditation & Breath Practice to Support Overwhelm
    2026/03/09

    Coming to you with a short, simple meditation & pranayama (breath) practice today to support overwhelm.


    Body based mindfulness cues ground you back into the body, and 4/6/8 breath's elongated exhale helps shift you from fight/flight/freeze into parasympathetic nervous system (rest & digest mode).


    This practice is best for when seated, but you can still follow along standing or lying down.


    So, take 10 minutes to ground and breathe. I hope it leaves you feeling more centred & regulated ♡
